Religious people need to back off–attacking a 15-year-old just because she stars in a movie that revolves around witchcraft is freaking ridiculous. But whatever–Emma and the WB have the right to sue them if these keeps happening.

I have read about this before. Well like i know, religous r all against witchcraft n’ things… It’s stupid! But, i agree with people ’bout they need to back off ’cause of this. It’s not like she is doing anything bad in the real life, she just doing some films. That’s even not in real life, it’s in the movie world.. lol.
people now are getting too rediculus with religion I mean harry potter is just a ficional story/movie, an imaginative though, no diferent than the average kid writting about some super hero with super powers that defy the laws of physics and some how “go’s against religion”. these so called “religious people” need to back off and stop attacking the actors and actresses from harry potter,as im sure that there religion teaches them about ignorance. I mean harry potter is just an adventurous entertainment movie, that many people enjoy.

*facepalm* I read the ‘religious’ reactions to Harry Potter and I don’t know what to say. I’ve been a Christian for 13 years and an avid Harry Potter fan for at least 5. I don’t get how people have decided to make Potter the next Salem Witch Trials and JKR into the next Devil incarnate. Yep, sure gives Christians a good image! I mean, does no one know where to draw the line between FICTION and reality? I mean really!! The next thing you know they’ll be banning Cinderella! *sigh*

I think I am a very strong Christian. I read the Bible all the time. And I read Harry Potter. As long as you’re not practicing witchcraft, FICTION is okay. If you ban HP, then yes, you have to ban the Narnia series and Cinderella because they contain magic.
right…well im catholic christian….and i am OBSESSED over harry potter..everything about it! and u dont see me hading out bibles…that’s just gay…i agree with hogwarts_sweetie, if they’re going to ban harry potter then they’re going to have to ban a lot more things as well…

Now, sending Bibles to guide her. Why isn’t someone who likes Harry Potter movies & books supposed to be Christian? Why do they need guidance? This is almost funny. Peopel must be more open-minded.
