About fair trade (2010): "I first started learning about Fair Trade fashion simply because I did a piece of geography course work on it. I thought why isn't everything Fair Trade? From that point I started to look for labels that were Fair Trade and started researching it. When I thought of Fair Trade I thought of bananas and coffee and I thought this was as far as it went. But, of course pretty much anything can be Fair Trade. My collection is very much based on cotton and jersey which all can be made Fair Trade and organic. It's so great to work with something that hasn't been made with chemicals and is helping someone abroad who isn't earning a lot of money. The great thing about these clothes is that they are comparable to high street prices so affordable but go towards a really good cause. You win all around."

New Banner & The Relly Awards // 30 August 2006

First off, as most of you might have noticed, we have a new entry banner! The old one didn’t match very well so we now have a new one to match the new layout. 🙂  A big thanks to Shannon, who made the banner, and Dook, who coded it and put it on the site. 🙂

Secondly, as most of you might know, the American talk show, Live with Regis and Kelly has nominated Emma for their TV awards, The Relly Awards! In the Relly Awards, Emma is nominated for Best Junior Achiever!

They will reshow Emma’s episode on Regis and Kelly on ABC at 10:00 AM Eastern Time. After that, you can vote for Emma at here. 

Edit: Voting for Emma’s category is now over.

The winners will be announced on the show on September 22nd. So good luck to Emma!

    naro, Regis & Kelly is a morning TV show in the US with Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa. The Relly awards are about people or performances who have been on their program over the last year, and the public votes on their favorites.

    I like the new banner, but the pic looks lost on it. Too small. Plus I prefer the pic on the old banner. Nice job though. 🙂

    Regis and Kelly is a TV show in the US. It is filmed in NY city. 😛 I watch it when my fav celebs are on. It's a talk show.

    I love the entry banner, I haven't been on the net for a couple of days and it was lovely to see the new banner on the 1st September. LOL 😆 I'm going to vote for Emma in the Relly awards and all the other nominations she's up for. Thanks Shannon and Katy! 🙂
