Hello lovely Emma fans!
On behalf of all our wonderful staff members we want to wish you aHello Emma fans! 😆
A extremly big thanks to Lila for translating the scans from Tu magazine that was posted yesterday:
Without magic and a lot of common sense, Emma faces up the usual fears and challenges of being a teenager. This acting lover, who gets embarrassed in front of boys, hopes Hermione not to be her last cinema role. These are the latest news about Emma Watson.
With 16 years old and already a teenager, Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is getting ready for, what she calls her “two weeks of fame”, as every time a Harry Potter film comes out. As for any girl it would be incredible to have all the benefits while working on a Harry Potter film, Emma just takes it quietly: she works hard to remain her feet on the ground, since part of the money she has is destinated to afford her university career. “When I’m not filming, I like to go out with friends, watch a movie, have a drink at Starbucks, buy Cd’s and spend time at my girlfriend’s house” she points out.
But is undeniable that Watson receives more attention that someone her age, and that’s what she criticises when it’s said it’d be easy to be Emma Watson. “I get so upset when people think that just by being famous I can have it all. I know that even though I wasn’t famous, when it comes to guys and romance it’d be as complicated as it is, when you’re an actress, it’s even more stressful”, she confesses.
Friendship and glamour
Everything’s not “that bad”. The glamorous side of bringing Hermione to life is one of the biggest experiences so far, and she’s conscious that if it wasn’t for Harry Potter, she would have had to wait until being an old lady to get to know the United States, Europe and Asia. And that’s not all, because after spending six years with Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe, now all grown up, it hasn’t been an obstacle for them to make Emma a big joke every time they can, like in a real family. “We have to see each other almost every day. They have seen me very glamorous at the premieres, and so at six o’ clock in the morning without make-up. It’s impossible not to feel like a real family”, Emma remarks.
Did you know?
One of Emma’s deepest sadness was when her seven year old cousin, Hannah, died from cancer.
She loves to dance. Dan Radcliffe is one of her dance partners at parties and premieres.
Things never missing at the set: her cell phone, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, lip gloss, her teddy bear, and the slippers she got for Christmas.
She loves to decorate and redecorate her bedroom again and again.
Last May she took part on the “Worldwide Championship” of Teenager Feminine Hockey played at Oxford. Her team: “the Hockey Rover Sports”.
Her worst nightmare is not being able to get rid of her Hermione Granger label. Even though she’s conscious about how important is to play the character, Emma is looking forward to play other parts, “Daniel and Rupert are really sure about being actors the rest of their lives. As far as I’m concerned, I don’t want Harry Potter to be my last performance. I’d like to play other kind of characters and have a tryout at the theatre, because I like the automatic response from the audience”,she points out.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
The fifth film from the saga J.K. Rowling has created has been finally finished filming, and considering the eagerness of the fans to see the movie, its worldwide premiere will be on July 2007!
This time the gang will have the need to create Dumbledore’s Army, since the new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, Dolores Umbridge, isn’t giving them the resources to fight against who-must-not-be-named. The film was directed by David Yates, who according to Emma gave it a different touch.
Also, Harry is having an inner battle between fear, dragons and devils; this new film is more emotional than the previous ones.
Curiosities
♦ Most of the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix scenes had been shot at the United Kingdom, such as the Westminster metro station (when Harry and Mr. Weasley go to the Ministry of Magic), the banks of the Themes, the Black Park of Buckinghamshire and the Virginia Waters.
♦ Image Metrics was the enterprise chosen to create Grawp, Hagrid’s famous half brother.
♦ For the Thestrals scene, the actors are able to fly in the aid of a crane. That’s Rupert’s favourite scene.
♦ one of the funniest moments on set involved Ron’s phobia to spiders. The staff was going to include a scene where a tiny spider climbs slowly Ron’s leg, but Rupert’s fear was massive and they were forced to cut the scene.
Remember, the Calendar competiton is now closed, a big thanks to everyone that entered!
