Emma has said that she loves to travel, that one of the best things of being in the Harry Potter movies is getting the chance to go places she’s never been. Well here’s your chance to show Emma why she should visit your country or city! For this year’s birthday project we are making a picture book of places around the world using pictures taken by you, her fans. We would like you to send us your pictures from your country. Pictures that show its beauty. Pictures that show what is special about your country. Pictures that show what you love about your country. 🙂
Rules:
- The pictures should be about places. Like a beautiful landscape or a city, or even a building. They can be from the countryside, or in the city. It’s ok if you or other people are in the picture, but the picture should be about the place, not the people.
- You may submit up to 3 pictures from your country. You may also submit up to 3 pictures from a country you’ve visited. So up to 6 pictures total.
- Please identify each picture with a location, and short description. For example, “Eiffel Tower, Paris, France”, or “Ayers Rock, Australia”.
- Include a short paragraph explaining why you like the place and what it means to you.
- The pictures must be taken by you, and by sending them to us you are giving us permission to use them in the EW.net World Picture Book. The pictures do not have to be new.
- The pictures should be digital images, or high quality scans. Please send the pictures as email attachments, or links to image hosting sites.
- We will not be able to use all the pictures submitted (it’s a book, not an encyclopedia 😛 ) so think carefully about what pictures to send. Only the best and most interesting will be included.
- The deadline for submitting your pictures is March 5th.
- Please send them to emmawatson.project@gmail.com

Rule update: I have updated the rules to say that the pictures do not have to be new. As long as they were taken by you, they can be from any time.

Ahlam, about the rule update? It just means that you don\'t have to take the pictures now. They could be from a vacation last summer, or from a couple years ago. As long as they are your pictures.

ssara, you can just use your first name, or even just use ssara if you like. Danielle, yes, if you live in the UK you can still send in photos. I\'m sure Emma hasn\'t seen everything in her country. If you lived in Oxford it might be harder to find something she hasn\'t seen , but really, it\'s more about having pictures that represent all the places her fans are from. 😛

ooooh i wanna do this too! pakistan is really a very nice place! it's heaps of fun and omg i have to like stick a pic of the lahore fort (it's a palace) there's a room where the roof is made from tiny mirrors and in this old(bollywood) movie the actress is spinning and then the camera moves up to the roof and then u can see like her spinning in like all these hundreds of tiny mirrors and it's awesome!!!! 😛 hehehehe

Well,honestly I don't think Emma has heard someting about my country. I mean, I don't know if she knows where it's situated! 😛 But anyway,I'll send some pictures,but I don't think she will come in all the countries from the "World Picture Book" 🙂
POLSKAEMMA, I think that Emma won't "choose" one country, she might try to visit them all. And, just curious, Iza, what country are you from? I know for Sure emma has never heard of Latvia (nor has anybody else for that matter)… btw, dook, check e-w.net e-mail, how long can you wait to open a single letter (if you already did and didn't like what was in there, just say that, please, like you did for karinaki), or should I send another one just like it?
What I'm talking about the updates Dook, is that Dook, the updates, the same pictures from previous days are always up posted. I just noticed it, its becoming annoying which is kind of a problem. A site which is full of repeated pictures from previous days. You should only post up only one picture from each day, not always repeated. The rest of the pictures are ok, its not that annoying. Anyways, she still looks hot!!!
omg! i loove the idea, it's so creative! i live in Lebanon … it's in Asia, an arabic country, it's a little small, but it has reallyyy great places to visit, tourists come here in large groups every year to see all the old palaces and stuff like that 😆 i'm gonna definetly try as best as i can to take cool pictures, i'm sure Emma would love it here, hope she will come and visit 😉 😛 ok tc everybodyyy xoxo PS: if anyone knows Lebanon, or lives there plz tell me if it's worth sending in the pics And Angel, i've been to Italy, and it's my favorite country !! i'm positivly sure that Emma would want to visit, cz it's really really B.E.AUUUTIFUL 😆
Mharlon, I seriously don't get what you're talking… are you talking about PotD or some other pics? if PotD, it doesn't repeat, it just doesn't change at 0.00 am…
To make things clear, if you want to remember the pictures from the past which is good then I guess its ok to me. But don't always post it up every single day is what I'm talking about, cause it looks similar from the day before, and its so annoying and confusing to some fans of Emma herself, anyways she still looks gorgeous!

Mharlon, I don\'t know what you are talking about either. There is one picture that has been reposted, the screencap from the helicopter video. I posted that in December when I asked if anyone had the video. When we got the video, I posted it again as a reminder of the video. We aren\'t posting up the same pictures every day.

Jeanne, we will try to get to your email as soon as we can. We get a lot of emails, and a lot of pictures sent to us. It takes a while to go through them and see if they are duplicates. Oh, and I\’m sure a lot of people have heard of Latvia. Ghina, about your question in the other update, sorry, I don\’t know if Emma has a lucky number.

Dook, about the calendar comp isn't 1280×1024 a little big? Coz i made mine with this size, and it was huge!!! Don't know, hope i didn't do anything wrong…. 😕 Oh, and do we have any abatement about the pics for the WPB that we send?? I'm how many countries will you choose? All of them? I bet this is gonna be a very big book…. 🙂

seriously?! 😕 wait, where exatcly do you live again? 😕 I'm actually really surprised, 'cause we're such a small country (about 2,3 mill. people), Ok, we have the biggest inflation level in Europe, but that's nothing to be proud of… I think that the only thing we can be known for is hosting Hockey World Cup 2006, NATO Summit 2006 (november), and that our female president almost became ANO general secretary (she would've been the first female to do that)… and, of course (what a pity that I have to say "of course" :cry:) many adults come to Old Riga to "party"…

karinaki, i think the calendar dimensions were an error, but that was our mistake so don\'t worry. The pics for the book can be any size, and bigger is better. We will of course have to resize them to fit in the book. We plan to include all countries that people submit pictures for. That of course means we can only choose a small number of pictures for each country, so, everyone, make sure you pick the best pictures you can.
Oh, c'mon, I'm not like all my class-mates, their biggest event of the week is when Robbie Williams or Beyonce or Shakira get their new album out… I watch a knews a lot, 'cause my sister's a journalist, and other reasons too… But seriously, how do you know about it? Athens is like sooo far away from here…
