Bad news guys. According to this article Emma did NOT sign for the next two Harry Potter movies and the WB confirmed it. Right now, we don’t know anything else, so stay tuned for any update.
Even if this is the end of an era, Emma has to know that we respect her decision and that we’ll support her no matter what. She doesn’t need to play Hermione for us to love her.
EDIT: OK, I’ve just been told by many people that “News of the World” isn’t exactly the most reliable source out there (I didn’t know it, because I just didn’t know “News of the World”, it doesn’t exist in France). So don’t panic, it may just be another silly rumor. Let’s wait for something official from the WB 🙂
UPDATE: according to CBBC Newsround (which is quite more reliable than The Sun or News of the World), nothing is signed yet but a spokesperson for Warner Bros said: “We’re extremely confident that Emma will be back for films six and seven.”
So let’s just keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best 🙂

If Em does not come back she can join the list of other actors whom made the same mistake like Shanon Dority from 90210. She should just tell them she wants $20 million for both films. That's a nice pay check.

PLEASE people, DO NOT BELIEVE THE TABLOIDS – they are known for making stories up or for exaggerating them. Apparently Rupert never even spoke to the papers about Emma, they just lifted quotes from an interview he did for Driving Lessons and then changed the words around (it's called ARTISTIC LICENCE in the journalism 'trade'). Nothing has been confirmed either way yet. So far ONLY DAN has officially signed up to the last two films.

Yeah, it's so sad. But that's her decision you know. She has to think about her future and have enough time to addend the University of her dreams. In the news (Romanian) I read that the filming people were willing to pay Emma double the pay for the movies, but even then she said no. So that proves that Emma will surely not do the last two Harry Potter movies and I believe she won't.

I was just on Daniel Radcliffe website this morning on 3/20. The WB confirms that Emma still has not yet made up her mind. Though the want her to be in 6 and 7. If you ask me I want her to stay till the end because, why leave now when there are only two more films to make.
You can tell that, they were making it up because I know Daniel and Rupert would'nt say things like that.

I'm so shocked to see so many of you believing them! Guys, they are NOT true. They are RUMOURS and LIES. They've quoted Rupert and Dan to have said something on these lines. Well, lets hope its a rumor. The last two movies will not be the same without her. She is one of the most loved characters from the film. You cant just throw in a new girl in her place, throws everything off.

Honestly…I never believed that Emma would leave..and I still don't. 2 million dollars is still a lot, even if it isn't 13 million like Dan gets, but Emma isn't the *star* of the show like Dan is. I think Emma will go on…it would ruin a lot of things if she did…like a new Hermoine that would be weird!! And fans of Emma wouldn't respect her as much..so i am positive that she will stay!
