Thanks very much to HPANA we now know that Warner Bros. confirmed a release date for the OotP DVD! 😆 The date is set for December 11th, instead of earlier rumours of a November 12th release.
The DVD includes:
The Two-Disc Special Edition, Blu-ray Disc and HD DVD will include: 10 minutes of never before seen footage; an A&E documentary; a featurette called “Trailing Tonks,” in which you spend a day with actress Nat Tena and receive a very personal and often wacky tour of the “Order of the Phoenix” stages; a “Harry Potter: The Magic of Editing” feature, in which director David Yates and editor Mark Day show us what a difference a good edit makes and then allow you to edit a scene; “The Hidden Secrets of Harry Potter” in which look for clues in the past Harry Potter films for what the future films may hold; an “In Movie Experience,” in which you join the cast from Dumbledore’s Army as they come together to share memorable moments; as well as more “making of” featurettes and “Fun and Games.”

I can't wait for the DVD! Everything on the DVD's sounds so great, but I heard that different things will be on different DVD's. On Danradcliffe.com, it says that all 3 will have 10 minutes of deleted footage, editing footage and trailing tonks, but the HD-DVD and blu-ray DVD's has something called "focus points" on it, and the special 2 disk edition has "the hidden secrets of HP" on it. If that's true, that's horrible because if someone gets a certain type of DVD, they're missing out on tons of extra interviews and footage that's on the other types of HP DVD's.
so the other one was fan made to bad i liked that one better oh well this one is good too 🙂
I wish they had used the pic, where emma and rupert is smiling like they usually do on covers. I thought there is supposed to be interviews with the cast 😕
Amar's comment is really inappropriate for this site and a bit insulting to Emma. On youtube videos and the like it is to be expected, but not here. I trust it will not be here long though. Anyway I can't wait to get the DVD!

Whats the diff between HD DVD, and blue-ray disk? which DVD is better to get?? 😕 (confused)
😉 Good Question A.v HD DVD is made by Toshiba and Blue-Ray is made by Sony. Basically they both are the same about image quality, sound and other stuffs, there is almost not difference between them, but the first one is cheaper than the second one. They both are made by blu ray technology, both HD DVD has only about 15Gb and Blu Ray 25Gb capacity. I hope it helps!

nah "ashley" you wont be the first to buy it and technickly the cinemas would have been some of the first. Thats an interesting question. I wounder who bought it first? and who watched it first? The people who put all the scenes together and added all the sound effects would be the first to watch it. But who do they sell it to first? Just think if you were in a scene on a proper dvd you wouldnt be the first to see it I think they sell it to dvd companies first am i right? and for the rest that cant wait you can dwnload the 5th movie or watch it online just don't download the ones that are in 3 parts or more. two might be all right. cause the 1s in more than 3 parts are usally low quality and have been filmed at the cinemas. i thought i would never see a cinema recorded one 😕
i forgot to comment on the dvd box set yeah i want to buy it but it depends on if i have enough money. about £60 for the lot its a good bargain with added extras (thats why i want it and also i would like to know how they did prisoner of askaban at the time turner part when theres 2 of them. better be on the disk hopefully) and for those who havent bought them its a bonus if they do now. i never bought them my dad did so i might buy the set myself even though iv'e got the dvds in my room still and if they get put back in the case downstairs in the morning before or after collage i sneak them back to my room again 😆 you should be able to buy it sooner i think woolworths (cant even spell that)is selling it about november 7th or 20th i think it said. in the catalog. the big red book
