In a recent interview Emma was asked about her future in acting. Emma replied that the experience of filming Ballet Shoes made her think “Yeah, maybe I could see myself doing this, maybe this is where I’m meant to be.” The majority of those who have now seen the film I think would agree with her. Reviews have been overwhelmingly positive. Here are a few: FT.com, Scotsman.com, The Guardian, The Herald. TV Scoop has a quote which I think sums up most of what I have read very nicely. Emma Watson has instantly stepped out from the shadow of Hermione Granger and shown herself to be incredibly talented.

JUST FOUND THIS ON ANOTHEER : Emma Watson loves Christmas, but she doesn't love how live Christmas trees make her feel. She says it's like someone is "sticking pins in my eyes." In just the short time she was interviewed at her friend's house, the tree was already making her miserable. "If you shake the tree, it sheds and that gets around the house and it gets into your room, then you sleep and your eyes are watering while you're sleeping," Emma exclaimed.

Emma was fantastic in this movie! She could play everything, that's wonderful! *_* I really think she's more talented than Daniel, even if I like what he does, she's more credible, more intense in emotions, she's GOT talent, obviously! This first film outside the HP series was not too soon! I couldn't wait to see this, and that was just marvellous <3
Like everybody else, I was also curious to see how Emma would perform outside the HP franchise. I watched it but to be honest I expected the movie as a whole to be a little better. Nevertheless, I found it enjoyable. Emma was undoubtedly the most beautiful girl on Ballet Shoes and yet the weakest of the three leads in terms of acting. That's what I think anyway.
