About fame (2007): Fame happened when I was so young but I don't find it difficult to have a nice ordinary life. People who try to hide from fame can make it go completely the wrong way. Emma Wins at the SyFy Genre Awards // 25 August 2008

Emma was voted “Best Actress/Movie” at the 2008 SyFy Genre Awards for her role in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, winning over Claire Danes, Helena Bonham Carter, Gwyneth Paltrow and Nicole Kidman. Over 50,000 ballots were cast in this ninth annual competition where fans vote for their favorites in science fiction and fantasy. Congratulations Emma!!

Congratulations also for Order of the Phoenix which won “Best Movie” and JK Rowling who was selected for the “Gene Roddenberry Lifetime Achievement Award”.
