The Tale of Despereaux is just one day away!
A new picture of Emma is featured in an article on USA Today. Emma talks about keeping herself normal, how her wealth really hasn’t sunk in yet, but that it will let her choose film roles she likes, and not because she needs to. “My life will not be motivated by money. I will never do a film because they’re going to pay me a certain amount of money. It’s liberating. It means that I can hopefully make great choices.” Read the whole article here.

Would anyone explain to me what are "floral Converse chucks"? 🙁 And how do they look like? I've read it in a 2005 Emma's interview and as far as English is not my native i donno what it means:smile:
Elly, Converse is a company that makes shoes. \”Chucks\” is a nickname for Chuck Taylor, one of their shoe lines, originally made as basketball shoes. They can be bought in many colors and patterns. Floral means with pictures of flowers. Emma got a pair of shoes as a birthday gift from her father a few years ago that are floral converse hitop chucks that were a favorite of hers. You can see them in quite a few pictures from past events.

It seems Emma has impressed yet another interviewer :smile:. I agree that she has done an terrific job promoting this film. I really hope the film does well. I am glad that Emma is living as normal of a life as she can and the fact she wants to do roles she enjoys, not roles for money. She looks gorgeous by the way in the videos. 🙂

Yeah! TTOD is out today! Woo hoo! Emma is such a classic beauty.I mean I Got to agree, Emma is a very well spoken person. I think that she is a very good role model for young girls because she always conducts herself like a lady and she does not drink, do drugs or party like many of the young stars today. I absolutley adore Emma because she be the kind of girl that I would bump into the streets. She is a very descent, bright and pretty young women, who has a bright future ahead of her. Go Emma! 🙂

I went to the cinema and saw The Tale of Despereaux! It was a great film. Emma did well in the voice part. I reckon it would have been better if there was more of her and the film was a bit longer. 🙂
