WB released a new Half-Blood Prince trailer yesterday, an exclusive for fansites. It looks great and there is some new footage, but sadly no new scenes with Emma.

I need to comment on a rude comment about Emma's non-Americaness in the Yale rumor. I pray Emma goes to Harvard, for it is the best university for education, and higher learning isn't about friends or family. It's about yourself and your future. And back to the comment, America basically introduced celebrities, higher learning universities for all citizens, freedom, and women's rights. I think someone needs to return to History class and see why England and America are tight allies since WW1, WW2, and the Revolutionary War. Be careful, your big brother may not be there for the third WW.

The HBP trailers are GREAT. I think they're the best I've seen for all the HP movies. I'm really excited about seeing the movie!! 😛 😛 I can understand why Emma is on a Best Dressed list again. That dress is gorgeous. The gown she wore to the BAFTA awards show is even more stunning. They could have put her on this list twice!!!!!

What is the point in going to a fansite for somebody I don´t like? Without any "substance" where do all the As come from? Do you think she "bought" them? How can you "buy yourself an education"? Do you have any idea how the admission process of top Universites of the world work? Have you ever been to a movie set and seen how hard people work and how long the hours are? Have you never been out to a night club? Is there something immoral about private schools? Compared to all the Mileys, Lilys, Katys, and Amys out there, I am quite content to appreciate Emma Watson and her career. Totally without all that jealousy of so many people.

@Fonty: You're absolutely right. I think, that we ought to put ourselves in Emma's place. I wouldn't want somebody to spread false rumors around, whenn he or she doesn't even know the truth. I would feel myself uncomfortable, if I couldn't have a normal life (private life). Emma is a very hardworking, intelligent, nice and charming person and she deserves some privacy and respect. For those, who don't give a 🙂 about her life, please, let us fans worry about it. *bluff*
Well, chuck, it was leah's comment in the Yale rumor comments, and well said, Fonty. Still all in all, Emma's human, which I think is why we should have the theme of helping Emma away from alcohol, clubs, and pubs( I lost my best friend to a drunk driver.) I know she would hear her fans, and not turn a blind eye. I mean, I don't know about you all, but stuff like that hurts me( I know you all have seen the pics of "Be Emma") I'm not trying to offend anyone, lol, but to me, it seems Emma needs help in this. Over all she seems like a great person with an awesome persona, but real friends don't let friends get drunk. What do you say, guys, for Emma's sake?
I meant to add: This is why I hope she chooses an academic approach to university and not for friends. I'm from Louisiana, and I see alcohol ruin great lives, like many celebs, Emma's not immune, obviously. I feel she can use our help. She is a role model, too.
Hey Hey Hey guys and ladies, calm down! Have you ever drunk? I suppose many answers are "Yes". Have you ever done something amusing at your parties, like, I dunno, write something on your chest (lol)?? I suppose many answers would be "Yes". So is Emma different from you human beings? I don't think so. Let her live her life, let her have fun in the way she likes it. She's been working hard on these HP movies and at her school, so she HAS RIGHT to go out and enjoy her free time with some friends without being followed by somebody. By the way, didn't like those paparazzi's photos. It's like "Wow! Look! She has 'Be Emma' written on her chest! Wow! WTF is this?" I bet if I did something like that and then post my photos on a website, NOBODY would leave a single comment.
@DHA: You've got a point there.But I doubt, that Emma would consciously choose alcohol as a way to overcome her problems. She is just not that kind of a person. I just can't imagine Emma abbusing alcohol just for fun, besides she already told, that she can be having fun without alcohol. I agree with you DHA that I do not like to see Emma drink because it can be dangerous. She's awesome and I wouldn't want anything to happen to her.
That's a good point, wishmeluck, and DerBluffer, I hope you're right. But, Blacktiger, I'm all in for Emma having fun, but, not this way. See, if you do this, unlike Emma, you don't have millions of children looking up to you. Emma does, and this is not something that young girls especially should think is okay, no matter if it is intentional or not. I see this as Emma's only flaw, and a fatal one. Bad habits start young, and Emma's only 18. I fear for her in this because she's a good person. And like, wishmeluck posted, it would be a shame if something terrible happens to her.

Well, nice to see a good discussion. 🙂 I have seen pictures of Emma Watson holding a glass of champagne beginning 2005 with the GoF premiere. I have never minded that, because I think that she can be responsible with the amount of alcohol she consumes. And she has stated her views on being drunk in January, I am fine with that. You cannot tell a person´s blood alcohol levels by looking at paparazzi pictures. And those pictures are always taken out of context and thus inspire a raging debate. We know nothing about the evening, the people, the context of it all, just some pics. And I have stopped looking at them, anyway, a great excercise in self-control. (And at least the last two times I have been successful. So far. 🙂
How does someone look at stalker-razzi pictures and then decide Emma has a PROBLEM??? This kind of nonsense must drive her mad!!! 😡 😡 😡
I apologize like I said if it offends anyone, and I know everyone cares about Emma 100% here. And maybe she don't have a problem, and I don't agree razzi pics or stories. But, the photographers have jobs, and it's how they feed their families. On another note, Emma has said that she hates razzi, being drunk, and things that are fake. All that sounds like a pub to me. And everytime Emma does stuff like this, the stories get worse, and most of these pics and stories happen outside of pubs. That's all I'm saying.
I don't think she has a problem; I was just saying that I hope she continues to NOT have a problem. As I said, drinking can be dangerous, and I wouldn't want anything bad to happen to Emma that could have been avoided if no drinking was involved. But no, I don't think she has a problem with it now, or ever has, and I hope she never does.
@DHA, I agree all of us “regulars” are big Emma fans, but I think it was unfair to conclude she has a problem because of some tabloid pictures. Unfortunately, it’s impossible for Emma to live like most 18-year olds. We all know she’s a huge celebrity and tabloids go with the territory. But the stalker-razzi have begun to follow her EVERYWHERE and that's got to be tough to deal with. As some of her biggest fans, I think we owe her some slack.
