Emma Watson will be featured in a new autumn/winter ad campaign for Burberry starting this August. The ads were shot on location by Mario Testino near Burberry’s new headquarters not far from Westminster Abbey, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.
“Having known and admired the lovely Emma Watson for quite some time, she was the obvious choice for this campaign,” said Burberry’s creative director, Christopher Bailey. “I wanted the images to represent the rich history and modernity of Burberry while reflecting a quiet beauty, timelessness and strength that is particularly significant today. Emma has a classic beauty, a great character and a modern edge. Her charm, intellect and brilliant sense of fun made the whole shoot feel like a picnic on the Thames.” He added: “I felt Emma would be strong enough to hold the campaign as the only girl, and I loved the idea of her being surrounded by these young, cool British guys.”
The ads will appear “in the August issues of magazines including Vanity Fair, Vogue, British Vogue and Tatler. It also will appear on the brand’s Web site early next month to coincide with the magazines’ releases. In August, an interactive digital campaign directed by Christopher Bailey that includes podcasts and behind-the-scenes footage will appear on the Burberry site.”

the guy in the back left corner doesn't look like he's a happy camper. She looks very different, at first I thought it was Beckham's wife in the first one. Just slightly younger.
I don't think it's that much photoshopped! She is just wearing different makeup than usually! I have never seen her with nude lipstick before now! And the lined eyes in the last photo are also different from her usual look. But it is nice to see her with a new look, not that I don't like what she normally wears, she's a beauty no matter what she's in! 😀
Yes, there isn’t that much photoshopping going on. It’s mostly makeup and styling her hair.

At first, I didn't recognize her! I was like, 'Huh? I don't see her . . .' But when I saw her, I was just shocked. She looks beautiful in any photoshoot. 😛
Can you mistake those lips for anybody else`s? Stunning, breathtaking, adorable… …and for lack of better words, starting to look inhuman… Don`t get me wrong, I like it. Burberry or not, no other woman is ever going to look like that.
She's not that photoshopped. She only looks different b/c her hair is styled differently.

Guys I don't think there's any more photoshopping than normal. It's amazing how different some heavy makeup can make a person look, and she's wearing some pretty heavy makeup there. I recognised her straight away so I don't know what the big deal is. Also, did anyone else notice how much she looks like Keira Knightley in the image where she's with the guy in the black scarf? Loving she's signed on with Burberry 🙂 They seem to have a classic style that suits Emma.
