Emma Watson has done a new photoshoot for the August issue of Teen Vogue. She will be featured on the cover (click the thumb for a preview), and a photospread and interview inside. On the TeenVogue site you can read an excerpt and view photos including behind the scenes. There is also a video from the set, a fashion timeline, and a chance to get a free Emma poster.

About the action scenes being choregraphed (2007): "I just had quite a lot of fun working with the movement coach (he's actually a choreographer) for the last scene when we fight the Death Eaters. He's incorporating some choreography into the movements, the fighting, the action sequences. It's actually really interesting and was really good fun. The fight scenes between Voldemort and Dumbledore, watch out for that. It should be really, really good. "

@130671, LOL. 😆 LOVE this shoot! I think it's one of the best ever for Emma. Ranks right up there with the Burberry shoot. Her hat is soooo cute and I'm mad about the clothes, especially the red jacket!!! And Emma deserves props just for being able to walk in those heels. WOW. Go Emma!!!!! 😛 😛 😛

Nah, they just pinned her hair underneath to make it appear shorter. I'm sure she still has to keep it long, as she's in the midst of filming DH.

😕 Ok, I just saw the teenvogue-video. That red jacket / white skirt thing was ok. The rest was … ah … fashion, I guess ? Oh, and that burgundy silk – something was nice , you could see one of her…but let`s not get into that. More Burberry, please ? 😉

Hate the furs draped over her shoulder. And I'm amazed at how she manages to stand up in the shoes, (especially those where she's with the ponies.) But thanks for posting.
OMG! Emma looks so brilliantly beautiful in all of those pictures. I love them all, so it is hard to pick a favorite, but I would say my most favorite one would be the front cover picture. She just looks the most beautiful in that picture, but she looks beautiful in them all.

😆 You expect a definite yes or no from someone here? 😆 Although I believe it would be hard to just stop acting after all those years of success. Something interesting will come along and she`ll be back on the screen.
This interview stands in direct opposition to every other interview she has recently given, on multiple fronts. Talking about her private life, her passion for movies, etc. But it is hard to figure out what that is all about. Emma doing an 'about face'? Emma lying? The interviewer lying about what she said? What's going on?
yeah this is what ihave been saying. Something is fishy here. Here it is actually implied that she don't want to act anymore after the potter series is done. While in other interviews she is pasionate about acting even in video interviews she is pasionate about it but here its like she turned a 180. What is wrong with this picture 😕

She has already made it known that she is going to a UNIVERSITY–which lasts 4 YEARS. What did you guys expect? Maybe we can put the site on "pause" until she does decide to do a movie. BUT HER SCHOOL COMES FIRST. She has made this known countless times. I don't know why you guys have the sad faces. Cheer up she just doesn't want to do movies JUST to do them. She wants roles she believes will be worth doing. Peace everyone 😆 We still have 2010, 2011 HP's coming out anyways. We always wait long for these movies. We still have 3 premieres ahead of us!!!
She looks different here because…..consider this "dress up" She has a smirk here on the cover, crazy couture outfits, shorter style hair. She is going to look different in each of the photoshoots. Most of her photoshoots aren't conventional and that is why I love them. She looks phenomenal esp. with the ponies lol. 😛 t4p!
It's not a complete turnaround. She's been saying for a long while that she'll only be involved in movies she cares about. She said the same thing here. Anyway, she looks splendid, and I want one of those horses. >_>
I think I just died, because I am looking an angel. Emma's beauty is out of this world. She really looks like she enjoyed doing this photoshoot. Lucky horses. As for the interview, I definately believe the part about her talking about her private life is false, as she has stated she would never do that and Jo has confirmed that articles claiming that she did talk about it were false. But I do believe some things in it, such as the university talk and her wanting to live as normally as possibly because she has stated that. With the acting she has been careful with her roles, but the bit about her "not wanting to act again" seems like it is exaggerating a bit. But she does have a lot of different interests. Oh well. Some of Emma's fans act like they wish she was still 11 years old. She’s 19. She loves fashion. She has a boyfriend. She’s NORMAL. It’s silly to think she’s never even going to mention him!
Oh wow, she really looks great, all grown up and everything, and she's a eye on fashion ;D This is one of my favorite shoots as well (: I especially like pic 15, it looks so natural in a way when emma does all theese wonderful photoshoots!

Hey 🙂 I loved this photoshoot, I think this is her third teen vouge and they honestly dress her better each time, the make-up and hairstyles are really good :-). The backstage video was really cool. Shes so english its brilliant (: About the article – The part where she talked about her "possible" boyfriend. I dont think she randomly started talking about him, I think the intervier asked her a question and she asnswered it, shes 19 now and the whole "I don't want to act again." thing is been taken far to seriously tbh. I think what she meant is that she wont just act in any old movie for the money or the fame, I think shes saying that she'll act in a movie that she feels strongyly about and she is willing to give up her time to be part of. I dont think any of this interview was made up as Jo wouldn't have posted it on the site. Bsically what Im saying as that yes Emma is a well known movie star, but shes a human being, a teenager and as Emma fans I would hope that even if she was to NEVER act again, yous would respect her decsion, I know I would. 🙂 I wouldn't be too worried about that quote about not wanting to act again. If you look at the entire quote, it is very disjointed. She may not have meant it to sound like that at all. And the interviewer may have quoted her wrong too. It's definitely not worth getting upset over.
Yeah, I am not that concerned about it either. Sounds a tad exaggerated or misquoted. But we'll find out. No matter what she does I will support her. She has numerous talents so that means more potential career choices, so she will do well in whatever she decides to do. I just don't think that the quote about Emma talking about her private life is real. And why are you telling me she is normal? I know she is. Merely believing she would never talk about her private life based on her own words isn't banning her from ever dating like some people think it means. I don't even know why people think that.

I agree with Danielle too! KS987, I’ve also heard Emma say more than once that she won’t discuss her private life with the media. She’s a little older now. Isn’t it possible that she changed her mind? None of us wants to be stuck with everything we’ve ever said in the past. We change all the time. It’s not like she spilled her guts in the interview. All she said is she’s in a relationship and the papers make up a lot of rubbish about it. I don’t see why that’s so hard to believe. Seriously, Emma shouldn’t have to make a public announcement every time she decides to do something differently.
DanRadFan, this isn't like her deciding what career she is going to follow, in which she doesn't lose anything either way. This is her private life, something she has wanted to protect for years and she has stated as recently as Crash Magazine that she would never talk about it and the last article Jo confirmed was false was earlier this month. It is one of the things she truly feels strongly about. I doubt it's something she is just casually going to talk about in an interview after years of trying to keep her private life out of her public life.

It's basically an invitation to invade her private life. Not that people need an invitation as people clearly ignored her wishes for a private life anyway, but announcing it just makes it "okay" in the eyes of others to gossip about her private life and bring it up in interviews or talk about it amongst themselves, or dig for even more personal information. I don't think Emma did this because, as she said in an interview "Once you invite the press into your private life, you can't tell them to go away". Now why would she talk about it knowing that she would never have a peaceful private life if she did? What I want to know is why people are so willing to believe a quote about Emma talking about her private life? Just so you can talk about some random guy she is said to be dating? Why? I don't get it. What's so damn special about the guy that makes everyone want to talk about him? Absolutely nothing. I will never understand why people are so desperate for her to go public with her private life? Do you really need gossip that badly? No offense but this completely baffles me.

She's not coming out and giving a bunch of information about this guy. She's just saying how 'the papers' can really interfere with her relationships. That could be the same for any relationship! I don't think it's that big of a deal. While she does confirm that she and this guy have been 'consistently together,' she is still trying to preserve her private life by saying the gossip and rumors are annoying. That's just how I feel about it. 🙂
