It was a busy day for Emma. She made a quick visit on Today and taped guest spots for Live with Regis and Kelly and the Early Show and then ended the day with another walk down the red carpet at the New York Premiere. I think we’re past the peak of the promotional excitement now, but there’s quite a bit more to come. TV appearances and specials, and a lot of things I haven’t had the time to post yet. I’ll start with some pictures from the premiere. I’ve added some to the gallery, with more coming later.

Oh my goood! I am so thrilled!!! We have so many appearances every day… this amazing!!! I totally love this dress.. & has emmma changed her hair color?? i think she did!!! she looks now more like rupert than a blondie..

Dalma, I think that is the guy who plays Cormac McLaggen in HBP. I don't really like this outfit, I agree that the UK premiere one was better.

Yeah, it's like… sometimes everything is quiet, but when movies aproach… an avalanche of pictures comes up!
Boy, Dan really is short. It's probably just as well that he is thinking of a career as a director; I think it will be hard to do leading man roles. All the female actresses will be taller than him.
Oh, McLaggen. Thanks 🙂 Well, poor Dan, he really is short, but i think, if he really is good, it wont be a problem. He is rather charismatic and that is what counts. Dan would be tall as well, if he wore those unbelievably high heels Emma does. 😆 I hope he is not that desperate though…
Laura, dan's height is not a big deal he's a great actor (he has already made a success on Broadway…!) To be honest,emma is not that great! Dan and Rupert are way better than her!

'Dan and Rupert are way better than her!' Someone, to be fair, i think dan and rupert have had more chance to show off their talent more than emma has. I mean think about it, her education is VERY important to her, so she would always put that first, whereas rupert and dan don't really care. So i think that's why they've been in more roles than she has, and when it comes to harry potter they're not THAT much better than her, and in the first two films i actually thought she was miles better than dan, but she was at the same level as rupert. However i think dan has improved a lot and is great actor now.

Yes, I agree. Emma is a fine actress. She is very consistent, and has a huge following. She was excellent in Ballet Shoes, which I loved, and she got good reviews. She will have a good career. I'd like to see her in a period piece, like one of the Jane Austen heroines, or in Wuthering Heights, or something like that. With her bearing, and classy accent, she'd be perfect!

I called my local boarders bookstore to ask if they had the newest Entertainment Weekly and they did but it was the one with Micheal Jackson on the cover. do you know exactly when the one with Harry Potter cast will be out, I'm leaving for vacation on Tuesday and don't want to miss it.
Take Tom Cruse as an example… he is short but a nice actor.. size doesnt matter! 🙂 all three of them are great, and like i already said, he isnt even the shortest! he is in this capture but only because emma wears heels

BJS, the issue with Michael Jackson on the cover is last weeks, the July 10 issue. You want the July 17 issue, which EW told us would be on sale today. Maybe check back later today or over the weekend.
@kite, THANKS for the link. HBP has gotten some really good reviews, but that's the best one I've seen! If I read it right, the reviewer gave it 9.5 out of 10. That's almost unheard of. 🙂 🙂 🙂

Oeh this dress is completely different from the London premiere dress. I prefer the London one. It's a bit she is wearing a refuse bag or something. Still the rest is gorgeous!!! Her hair and skirt and SHOES!!! Oh I love those high heels. And I think some referred to a picture that she was again looking as she did a years ago. And that correct! Could somebody please help me our here? Is it true that there are different versions of the movie in the cinemas, like there is one that anyone can watch and one that is only for over 18? Coz, i promised to take my little brother, but if i have to watch the film with scenes being cut our of the film to make it more appropriate for a younger audience I might kill myself 😕 😆

I still can't believe I'm in New York 😛 Emma went to Ziegfeld so beautiful, also Bonnie, I cannot tell, so many people attended! I also saw her father and her brother.
