In an interview for USA Today Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint talked about their future plans and how they can leave behind the Harry Potter kids image. Dan had his Equus, and Rupert has his Cherrybomb. For Emma, she says it’s modelling. “People see me as Hermione in real life. They forget that I’m acting. We’re quite different people. I want people to understand that I’m versatile,” Watson says. “My way of hoping people would see me differently was through modeling. I worked very hard and did a lot of modeling shoots. Burberry offered me the campaign. That has moved me away a little bit. I’m not good at selling myself.”
Emma says her focus for the next four years will be university, and she’s not going to worry about what comes after that now. She’d like to work with directors Alfonso Cuaron and Guillermo del Toro but doesn’t feel any pressure. “Acting never was about the money for me. … Maybe in 10 years, I’ll be able to appreciate the fact that I am financially stable and independent and I don’t have to make bad choices. I can be very picky.”

I hope that she gets movie roles after HP but if she decides to not act then modeling would be great for her she is beautiful as we all know 😛

That's a very gorgeous pic of Emma. I am glad that she doesn't feel pressured. She has numerous talents as well as intelligence. She will succeed no matter what she does. She also seems like she has hit it off with Cuaron, so I would imagine it wouldn't be too hard to another project with him. She has also done very well with the modelling, and it has been a great way for her to show a different side of her. 🙂

She has also stated tons of times that acting for her is first priority. And modelling is something she is doing for fun. This is again a false article because acting is what she wants she even told david letterman that on his talkshow and tons of press interviews for HBP Why do these magazines continue to bend the truth 😡

Whoever was responsible for this pic didn`t know how to work with her – if it`s new, it`s lagging far behind almost anything she has done in the last year or two. Everything that makes her so unique is just gone here…even the (amateur?) POTD shows more "Emma"!
The POTD is not from an amateur. It’s from the British Film Institute birthday party, so, not a photoshoot shot.
OK, thanks for clarifying that. Still, the guy who took the other (photoshoot) picture obviously wasn`t feeling inspired that day.
Well I saw this picture and article in the newspaper and I thought the picture was gorgeous.
😕 This combination of makeup, hairdo and low light just doesn`t work – it makes her look…I don`t know a better word for this…so ordinary somehow. And we know she`s anything BUT ordinary.
