#40 was mine When someone called out that there were wrong abbreviations on #40 I could drown myself. What a shame! But form the moment I saw my worthy opponents I knew I could never go for the title!!! Oh and the voting system should defiantly be this way. It's much more fun and if you want others to be the winner than save that file and use it by your own!!!

Winner….? um what are you talking about? Btw to people who are commenting on here saying the calendars sucked or the winner shouldn't of won…um we all worked hard on all of our calendars. I worked hard on mine. If you think you can do better than the calendars that were entered…then why don't you try? Don't bash me or the other peoples calendars just because they were what you picked. This competition is suppose to be FUN not hurtful. So lets keep it that way. 130671…it's the original background BUT I just made it b/w so I changed the color and added stuff to the picture. I didn't just slap on some words and numbers. I actually worked on the calendar making it look different than the original pic. 🙂

btw Celia I didn't just do a b/w background. If you even asked me what I DID to the pic. I would tell you that I changed a few things than the original pic didn't have.

Yeah I didn't just do b/w background… I changed the flashes of the cameras, I made them shine brighter and have a soft glow to them so Emma could stand out more because that dress is gorgeous on her lol Plus I added a top & bottom black border to make the pic look more classy. The whole point of my calendar was to make her stand out like a beautiful true star that she is where ever she goes. It's disappointing that people are commenting badly about my calendar and all the HM. And on how the competition is done.
😉 Not really. You (and A LOT of others) know you did a good job. And where would we be without a little controversy to discuss….now that the centre of our universe :razz:is hiding on a campus in…Providence???…. Btw, is there kind of an "indian summer" there? She would probably like that…

Ah Jaclyn don't be upset about the others that are criticising your beautiful calendar!!! Usually the ones who comment badly are the ones who never participate or take the lead but always know better. Than show us what you can and prove it!!! Are most of you actually real British because I know from most or some that they are foreigners, including me :razz:??? I love to know because I can practise my English here. If anyone is offended by the people who are criticising the calendars or the way the competition is set up, you should really take a step back and realise that we are being critcal because we CARE about this website. With the exception of the comments that just consist of "your calendar sucks", the rest of us are giving thoughtful commentary so we can improve the site AND the artists… and you have to think about what kind of artist you are if you can't take criticism constructively.

You have a point BUT as a Art college student myself, even I know that there's a certain point to where criticism can cross the line. It is used in either a good way or a bad way. Just like it is taken in a good or bad way. In this case ppl who are commenting are doing criticism in the bad way as in trying to make the winner and the Honorable mentions feel bad. If they were not trying to do that then they should choose better words. I don't feel hurt by what ppl are saying about my calendar. I just feel annoyed about it. Because I think that if you are a fan of this site or of Emma then you should respect ppls creativity even if it isn't your taste. You shouldn't bash ppl for their art work. This competition is suppose to be a fun and friendly thing for fans to do. It isn't suppose to be a contest to where ppl come on here and put down other ppls calendars just because their pick either didn't win or because they didn't like the calendar that won or the calendars that were entered. In my opinion I think some people take this competition too far as if they will win a cookie or something. Is my calendar the best won that was done? In my opinion No, I saw better ones that I was SURE that were going to win. If I wasn't in the competition I would of wanted to pick Roni or Marina for their calendars.
There were others I would of picked as well. When I enter these contests I learn from the past calendars that won and that didn't win. Everyone is learning how to be more creative and unique with every competition for each month. Anyone who comes on here saying the winning calendar shouldn't of won or the other calendars suck, well (No offense) Put your money where your mouth is. I'm not going to argue with anyone about this matter anymore. I just hope everyone can just be more respectful to each other. I'm pretty sure Emma herself being a creative artist as she is, wouldn't like fans being disrespectful to each others creativity. 🙂

To Tree (and everyone else who is apparently annoyed by some of our comments, regarding the new way of choosing the calendar): Dear, as long as the winning calendar has already been chosen and I only came here to express my obvious disappointment about the new way of choosing the winners (and not the about the winners themselves), I do not believe I messed up something. Just try to be more realistic. It is not about the calendars that have been made or their makers. The "masterpieces" have not become worse, I could spot some truly awesome entries this month. It is all about THE WAY THEY ARE CHOSEN. Take a close look at the whole list of winners, since the begnning of 2009, and compare those calendars with the ones from September, October and November. It is impossible not to see the difference.
*sighs* anyways Did anyone see Emma Watson on TMZ? In USA that is. It wasn't anything bad but they were just talking about her being at Brown and they got some awesome shots of her walking around campus which i thought was pretty cool in the end of the video they said "Good for her" which I agree 😛 wish I could find the video.. 🙁

Listen Jaclyn,your calendar is lovely,and I think that he's nice because he's so simple but showing Emma's grace,her style and look on the best way,under the spotlights,that was good idea,and I see that you've done much more than just putting numbers and letters here. And you all,come on,I mean there are some of guys who just have bad words and they've never entered competition and they dunno to work in Photoshop,or any other program. When I won (august) I was happy,but I've thought that I don't deserve to be the winner,and it was like that,but now,It's not,I mean,to be honest I don't like so MUCH calendars of Alexandra,Roni,Jez,Martina and H IBrahim,they're cute,and it's good but your is PERFECT. I support you,and I like your work,don't think anything bad just because of some mean people right here.
