Jaclyn, so could you explain to me what does 'guilty pleasure' mean in this particular? As you have noticed I am not a native speaker so following wikipedia definition saying: 'A guilty pleasure is something one enjoys and considers pleasurable despite feeling guilt for enjoying it. Often, the "guilt" involved is simply fear of others discovering one's lowbrow or otherwise embarrassing tastes, rather than actual moral guilt.' just misunderstood? If 'guilty pleasure' does not refer to 'embarrassing tastes' and what Tree says, what does it mean? I am just curious, many thanks for explanation.
ppl can use that saying in different ways. The way your talking about isn't something Emma would go by. As I said before, Emma would never say spiteful things about any type of literature. Especially since so many ppl are passionate about this certain literature.
Also the word "Guilty" which her saying guilty pleasure, could of been her saying she likes something other than HP which might make HP fans mad. Which clearly it has. I mean when Bonnie Wright showed up at the New Moon event in London, HP fans were throwing daggers at her saying she switched to the dark side. So basically I think when Emma says guilty pleasure, which meant for her that she likes something that could make ppl think she is betraying them.

There's nothing wrong for her to like Gossipgirl either. Gossipgirl is 1 of my fav shows…In my opinion there's more important things going on in the world right now, and the spat over Emma liking Twilight just seems really really ridiculous….so let's move on from this discussion

Well, do you expect her to said she doesn't like Twilight??? If she would say "I don't like Twilight, those books are stupid" she would had thousends of Twilight fans on her back… I don't think she can say lot of thruth in interviews.. But, yeah, I'm totaly disappointed with that.. She is in our enemy team… Well, if she really is Twilight fan, then I will stop to be her fan… It's stupid, I like Evanna's honesty, she said she is against Twilight.. I hate getting involved in these silly comment arguments but CUMMON guys! Why do you's actually care? So what if she's the leading actress in harry potter and likes twilight, jeez if you wanna go down the HP/TWILIGHT path then why not hate on robert pattinson for a bit, he's starred in BOTH franchises yet no-ones hating on him!! I love both the series. Harry Potter a bit more but thats just my opinion and I don't think you should judge Emma for giving hers! well, I have two friends who are truly really really intelligent and they loved reading Twilight. I personally didn't read it because I just don't get the fascination with dating vampires (yuck, a boyfriend who sucks blood??) but if some people read it and like it, so what. she never said she considers it a classic of literature or something. I watch casting shows too and amuse myself. and my IQ isn't the one of a piece of bread either. you can't always read and watch things that are considered intelligent.
meandme… Thing is the ppl who hate on Twilight, are ppl who just basically have not read the books. The fascination of the books isn't just because of vampires&werewolves. it's the love story that makes the books popular. Girls love the love story, and guys like the fact they can relate to the guy characters when it comes to romance. But yeah I'm sick of this debate so let's just end it. BTW Evanna doesn't HATE twilight. That article that says she said she hates twilight is FALSE! Evanna herself even said she never said she hated Twilight. She said she isn't interested in reading it but it doesn't mean she hates it. She said she doesn't like love stories.

That's a lot of articles!! Emma is just big everywhere!! I love it! She's a worldwide fashionista. She really has amazing style and she's such a talented actress. I love her. She must be hard at work in school because she's been MIA lately. But I love that about Emma, Dan, and Rupert. You don't get tired of them because they're not in the press 24/7. So when you do see them it feels really exciting and kind of like a special privilege.
