About Hermione in OotP (2007): "Hermione in this one is really about trying to take Harry out of himself. He feels very isolated and alone and he's kind of lost in a big way, so he separates himself from everything he cares about, which is Hermione and Ron because he thinks that's easier. And so Hermione's job is kind of to get him involved again and show him that he does have something really important to offer and that he can do great things. She gives him back his self-worth, really. It's quite an important role."

Lots of New Videos

A lot of videos promoting the arrival of Harry Potter DVDs are appearing online. The DVD for Half-Blood Prince as well as the Ultimate Editions of Sorcerer’s Stone and Chamber of Secrets will be released soon (or already released in some countries). The videos contain sneak peeks of the bonus features that are included on the DVDs. I’ll be posting those that contain new footage with Emma.

In this first one, Emma gets a Dark Mark on her arm from the chief makeup artist on the HP films.

The Pitfalls of Teenage Love talks about the romantic entanglements between the characters.

In this clip from Creating the World of Harry Potter – Part 1: The Magic Begins, Chris Columbus talks about the casting process and Emma shares a few memories of that time. Thanks UHP.

I've seen all of these. I love Emma's response to getting the Dark Mark, "I'm meant to be heading out to dinner tonight, might cover that up!" Love it!! The one about the relationships in Potter is good too. I've always been a fan of the Ron/Hermione romance. I love how long it takes them to figure things out and all their little flirtatious and bickering moments throughout the series. And Emma was absolutely adorable when she was younger. So were Dan and Rupert. I love these guys. 😆 😛 😉 🙂

They were so lovely. Especially Rupert. He acted like an adult and Emma was so mature already! 😛

That second one is so fluffy but you really see how Emma has become SUCH a better actress, her facial expressions are just priceless, not overdone like they used to be but absolutely perfect. Lol compare to the last vid where she's all dramatic about the fact that her teacher is named Mr. Hancock and has left the school.

OOOOOOOOOOO{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{PPPPPPPSSSSSS!! ! Watch the On the Other Side of the Mic: Tom Felton interviews Fellow Hogwarts Students and the video below it too! 😛

  7. Celia says:

@Mima: Hermione is dramatic in the books too when she's younger, so Emma is perfect in the earlier films. She starts to lighten up as the story progresses and she gets older. Emma does a very good job of capturing that in the films. 🙂 😉 😛

In my opinion I think I enjoyed watching Emma in the movie more than I cared for the 6th movie its self. I thought the 6th movie was just too much romance comedy and basically I only wanted to keep watching the movie because of Emma…. but don't get me wrong, there were a lot of good scenes in the movie….but I thought Emma and Rupert did an outstanding better job in this movie than the others actors did with their characters…OH also Michael Gambon & Tom Felton! Tom Felton was really great to watch I felt bad for Draco…which in the books I never felt bad for him but Tom made me have a soft heart for me a little bit lol no one hate me plz 😉

It's amazing that it was eight years ago that Emma was a cute little girl, and now she is a stunning young woman. She's too sweet to be a Death Eater though. Can't wait for the DVDs. 🙂

It would be cool if there was a part in the books in which a deatheater polyjuice into hermione 😆 an evil hermione killing people and causing trouble 😛

  11. Cemal says:

    Wow! Perfect interview:) 😉

  12. Jason says:

What fascinates me is the absolute self control and presence that Emma has even as a small child. She's like a little queen holding court in that interview. Coming from a family of extremely intelligent and well-educated people, and with a public school (or in American English "private School") education, she is one formidable girl. I LOVE HER! 😆 😛

  13. kwan says:

    She's pretty indeed 😛 😆

Wow, Ron and Hermiones teenage love is very cool!!!And Romantic 😆

  16. Roger says:

It's so nice to see Chris Columbus again; it should remind us all that we owe him big time for choosing Emma, Dan and Rupert. He is a really good guy, and he had an eye for really good kids. (He has four of his own) It made a huge difference. I always felt that he did an absolutely spectacuar job with Philosopher's/Sorcerer's Stone, and sometimes he doesn't get the credit he deserved for getting the whole enterprise up and running. Way to to, Chris! We are grateful and haven't forgotten you.

I Love Emma (Hermione) So Much And I Hope she To Call Me In Any Time I Have Been Ready 😉 😉
