There have been rumors for a while that Emma would be in Burberry’s Spring/Summer 2010 ad campaign. Well, rumor no more. The first ad has appeared in the February issue of GQ magazine. I thought it was sort of a modelling "rule" that they never smiled in any pics, poses, on the runway, etc. I thought I heard someone say it was because they didn't want the model's attractive smile to detract from the clothing. This line is cool and all, but it's true that the boys could be prettier (more in Emma's league! :razz:), I don't know if they just wanted guys to look Britishy rather than cute in a Zac Efron, Justin Bieber sort of way..
Colette, in the hello video, Emma says “I loved reading all your comments of the show, I had such a great time, and it’s so nice that you guys were involved, and it was screened live…” She doesn’t mention what show, but I’m sure this is about the Burberry show during London Fashion week, and the way she says it sounds like the show was recent. So, my guess is in the days right after the show in September.To people commenting on Emma’s expression: Mario Testino did the shoot. If he wanted a different look he could have asked. If you watch the behind the scenes video, there are many times when Emma has a bit of a smile, or even a big smile, while pictures were taken. So, obviously they chose the pictures with the look they wanted.
Didn't mean to make anyone get defensive about what I said of her expressions… 😕 Thing is Emma is beautiful and I do buy a lot of things Burberry.. I would just like to see Emma work the clothes with her beautiful smile…& lovely personality… THAT would make me want to buy what she is wearing…. (not that I don't want to) Anyways I mean she is the big star that is influencing the fashion of Burberry to so many young people… so when they see this they see Emma FIRST! so honestly if she is smiling instead of looking "serious" then ppl would look check out the clothes more because they would be fascinated by her & what she likes to wear. That's just my opinion 😉
Us brits, (not to be offensive (again)) like to be very britishy that way… 😆 But Emma is just so gorgeous in the shoots! My calendar will for sure have these photoshoots. 😆

Yesterday was my birthday, and not only do we get new Emma pictures, but another message from her and footage of her behind the scenes of her latest shoot? It's like she knew. I TOLD you we were meant to be. 😛 But seeing Emma as sexy as ever was a great birthday gift, even if it was pure coincidence. 🙂 Seems like she had a lot of fun doing this shoot. Probably helps that she had family there.

Talking about people of mixed ethnicity… I don't know if this is just me but I find them very pretty (like the best possible combination of genes). Looked up in the internet and so many of these really gorgeous actresses and models are multiracial, ex. Bruna Tenorio, Miranda Kerr, Adriana Lima 🙂

I wasn't trying to be bitchy, when i commented on her lack of different expressions. I just don't like the pictures. Her poses are stiff, she has no chemistry with the male models… it's like she's just standing there. I'm not saying she's not pretty. I just don't think she has enough modeling ability to be in a campaingn of this caliber. She needs a little more experience. =)
