Emma is now on twitter
Great Fridays, the people behind Emma’s official site, announced on their facebook page that Emma is now on twitter and posted her first tweet. The twitter is not verified, and has not been announced on EWO, but I’m 95% convinced it is real. If not, it’s a very good fake. |
Update:Emma’s tweet was retweeted both on Great Friday’s twitter and Rob Noble’s twitter, founder of Great Fridays. 99% convinced. 😉
Update 2: WB’s twitter HarryPotterFilm has tweeted welcoming Emma to twitter. Convinced. 🙂
Update 3: Emma’s official site has an update on her new twitter account. And Emma’s twitter has been updated with a picture and background. The account is also now verified.
Ok, everyone who followed Emma or “official site” twitters in the past, now you know they are all fakes. Please unfollow them.

Wow! Sich a good news!… But using twitter is almost impossible for us in Iran because it's blocked here like facebook and we only can reach facebook by anti filtering softwares, that are only able for facebook… 🙁 Although I try to gain twitter, I wish her to join facebook too… 😉

Well I believe two Versions first:there is still nothing on her Homepage,no Cast Member is following her,alltough Tom was already online again,george isn't following neither,Snitchseeker didn't write anything yet second:If it's her,she will be like @jk_rowling that this Account is to let People know all other Accounts are Fakes.Many people know she doesn't like sozial Sites and her Homepage Stuff on Twitter said it one Time too.So don't have much Hopes yet and if she says "have a great Summer" this can say she won't be online soon again
She only got the account last night, so give it time for news to spread. I am pleased to say I was follower 34! But I do think her tweets will be sporadic.

@Maria, first, if it’s not her, then I think she’ll probably change website companies. second, even if it is like Jo Rowling and just to let people know all the others are fakes that would still be a good thing. Of course, not as good as getting a tweet now and then.

Emma may have just had enough time to create the twitter, but has yet to either add more to it(such as get it verified or add background to it). She might announce it soon since it seems to be her(the people running her website are convinced, and I'm sure they probably contacted her regarding it). It doesn't seem like Emma is going to be using it often though, as she stated in her first tweet. Whether she will use it in the same way she used the EMS in the past(with the exception of filmed messages of course) or just simply created the twitter just to prevent people from following fake accounts much like JK Rowling did remains to be seen. I made a twitter account as well, though mainly to reply to Emma's tweets and maybe mention news I can find to EW.net(since I'm only following Emma and EW.net at the moment), so I probably won't be using it often either.

@Harald What bad do you see in tweeter? It's just great replacement of EMS. And I can't understand weather users see retweets of those who they do not following?
@ DayZ: the thing is, that because of capacity problems with some providers, the URL is data compressed,which may lead to an address that contains a "trojan" without you being able to see it. Moreover, anyone can use anyone's name to open an account, and twitter is not safe from spam. So use your firefox and internet security systems if you want twitter.

What happened to Jo who was managing her site? Didn't Emma want her to be the one to make her website?
@Girl1 – Jo manages her site but does not make it. The actual creation of her site is very complex and is done by professionals, but as I understand it, Jo maintains it. She essentially does the updating.

People Emma won't tweet anything like Tom,Oliver etc She is a really private Girl,who wants a private/normal Life.That's why many are confusing why she is on Twitter. Twitter is not really a good Place to have a private Life.If she don't know it yet,she will. This is why Bonnie deleted her Twitter last Year (yes she had one).But I don't know how long she had it so it would be really no suprise if she won't come online again or tweet almost nothing. The Text sound really really much like JK Rowlings Twitter,who said too "you won't hear often from me" I just hope the whole Twitter Hype will end one Day,it's sometime worse than FB.On Twitter are many perverse People too and I'm sure they follows her now.There are even perverse twitter Accounts about her. That should not sound mean,I don't want that.But many People in the Web have to much Hopes at some Things,thinking she will tweet like the hell now and maybe here are some People who think hat too.That's why I said it here.I'm angry at this People who think they will hear many private Things from Emma now. and why Tom Felton,Snitchseeker,MuggleNet,Oliver etc doesn't follow her,maybe they know something about the Account,what we don't know.But no one knows why they are not following
@ Pat:Hi, you're accustomed to using the internet, and you can use it to find out which school might fit you. Best you know the area you want to go and perhaps the type of school (more languages or more science orietated etc.) Good Luck!

@Pat I heard what there are in Oxford some English courses. I do not know for sure (about quality of these courses), but for me it's best place to learn it 🙂 If I'd had a chance I would spend there few weeks….
