Signed as in ‘signed by Emma’, right? I don’t really care of the artist’ genuine signature …

    • dook says:

No, signed by the artist. I guess I’ll update that in the post so people aren’t misled. Emma isn’t the kind of person who would charge for her signature.

Why, from all the drawings shown in the gallery, this one? Apart from the artst seemingly not being able to paint ladies with any hint of a smile, this one looks as if Emma is somehow coming apart. As for the price, for an unlimited giclee print it is simply too high.

really? i know its all opinion but actually this one was my favourite! 😛

      • Harald says:

Yes, of course it’s a matter of taste and opinion and I’m glad someone likes it, but I would actually have favoured File 110 in the gallery…a little bit of colour can do a lot of good

I actually really like them too! My favorite is probably “Study for a painting 5,” but I really love how he gives so much detail to her face and hands/arms, and then fills the rest of the piece with beautiful abstraction. I think its gorgeous.

I can’t decide which one I like the best myself. Overall the Emma portraits in general were stunning. Once again it’s no wonder these portraits became so popular and the ones that were on sale previously sold out quickly. 🙂

Hi, No.#5 in the line of the gallery is exactly the one I mean. When I click on it it says file 110 on my computer.
