About school and learning (2007): "People can't understand why I don't want to be a full-time actress, but school life keeps me in touch with my friends. It keeps me in touch with reality. It makes me feel normal. Let's be honest: I have enough money never to have to work again, but I would never want that. Learning keeps me motivated."

Nice article, I know the magazine comes out in October but I wonder when the actual interview took place.

Hello is a weekly, and this is from this weeks issue, so it’s probably out now. On the interview, I think all we can definitely say is after the Lancome shoot. She talks about Perks, but just about her character, not filming. The article mentions school at Oxford, which Emma didn’t reveal until premiere interviews in July, but that could have been added later.

Too bad the Les Miserables rumor wasn’t true. Emma would have been perfect for the role of Cosette.

Has anyone ever seen this bit? It’s a little more elaborate behind the scenes on Hermione and Ron’s kiss.

Thanks for posting the scans. I found it interesting how Emma mentions the confidence of youth when she started filming the series, as when I saw her for the first time as Hermione, I was so impressed by her performance and the fact she fit right into the role that I originally thought she had acted before that and I was surprised to learn that it was actually her first role and that her only experience was being in school plays. Once again another great interview and she is simply stunning in the pictures.

Too bad emma won’t be playing cosette. It would have been a good opportunity for her to explore her range. I’m sure she has a great project underway though!

Someone told me that this girl, haigan, is possibly in talks for cosette. Not sure if it’s true though. The emma rumours sounded pretty solid.

Haigan would be great! I hope she gets it. This looks like a self tape audition though. Not sure if she even got a real audition. She should though!

It would be so nice to have a new face in there.

Haigan has such wonderful expression and personality- and her voice is perfect for cosette! PLUS she could even look like Anne Hathaway- same facial shape and smile.

I think she’s canadian though- may be a problem as I hear auditions are being held in britain.

anyone else heard anything about Haigan?
