A 4 minute teaser of the documentary When Harry Left Hogwarts has been released. It looks at the filming of Deathly Hallows Part 1 and 2, with behind-the-scenes clips and on set interviews with Emma Watson and other Harry Potter cast members. From the preview it looks like it will be a great documentary, but according to the advertising, will only be available on a 4-disc combo pack of Deathly Hallows: Part 2 at Target. I really wish those “Ultimate” editions really would be ultimate, with everything included. Blu-ray and DVD sets will be out November 11 in the US, December 2 in the UK.

What a touchy video. I’m going to miss seeing the harry potter series in theaters. But then again, I always have the books to read and the DVD’s to watch it whenever I want.

Would this 4 disc combo pack be available outside like UK and USA? I’m from Finland, and I think it’s unfair if this kind of amazing footage would only be available to fans in some countries. I think ALL HP fans around the world should be allowed to see this documentary and lots of other footage that I have never seen on the DVDs in Finland…

Its great that there are some new videos about Harry Potter. Emmas new roles are certainly great, but it will never be the same.
Loved this clip, but I’ve long lost track of all the versions. I started collecting the Ultimate Editions, so far they cost me something close to 200 Euros. They are great, I don’t regret buying them, but now they REALLY start spreading all the material on different versions, don’t they?
This is a documentary I’d love to see, please don’t let it be included in an exclusive pack that is only available in a store chain in the USA. We couldn’t even get it via Amazon then.
I know, if its just released at target then there’s no way in hell to get it internationally unless its released at a big chain in the UK

It looks like a scene that didn’t make it into the film. Emma is in the clothes of Mafalda Hopkirk, and there’s a guy on the ground holding on to one of Emma’s feet. Perhaps they were going to show Yaxley grabbing Hermione as they went through the fireplace escaping the Ministry of Magic.
This documentar looks like it’s going to be amazing. You can see a tear running down Emma’s cheek in the clip of her with fans at the premiere. :'(. They will probably re-release the entire series in the future(when? who knows), since they do that for numerous other films, so that’s why they probably won’t include everything on the DH2 DVDs. Even though the series is over, I imagine that there will always be new material on it, such as documentaries, specials, etc., so I wouldn’t expect all the material to come out now just because the series is over.
it’s kind of hurtful to hear Emma say “People are waiting for me to screw up” and that “These kids are childstars, they’re doomed”. I never thought about that the last years of Harry Potter, and now that I think of it, I can’t feel anything else but proud of all of them. They didn’t screw up, they screwed media! :’D
Yeah that’s what I though too. I also feel proud of them, to have them look like adult – real, grounded, normal adults. But the truth is that the tabloids have been waiting for that forever, so it’s like they’re not allowed to make errors. Not until each of them is like 26 or 28. I don’t think she speaks about fans, but about everybody who’s job is to reveal star’s private life or to criticise how popular people do.
I almost started crying by watching this! Especially when Emma cried..

in UK this will be on the 2dic versions of harry potter and the deathly hallows part which are only 9.99 its on the special features so dont worry people just buy that one i have mine pre-ordered 🙂
