About GOF (2005): " Particularly in this film, there's a lot that I can relate to from my life to what Hermione is going through. I loved the challenge of the Yule Ball scene. I think there's a huge emotional range from the beginning, being completely in love and swept off her feet and then to the end just being crushed and gutted by her fairy tale being ruined, by Ron who's very jealous. That was the biggest challenge for me. But I really enjoyed it. "

That’s a Wrap

From the bonus features of the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 dvd comes an extended look at the last day of filming. The emotions are high during the last scene, and then the tears flow during a look back at the previous 2 years of production. There are new interviews with Emma, Dan, Rupert and crew, and new behind the scenes footage. The DVD and Blu-ray sets are out tomorrow in the US, or 2 December in the UK.

Very touching! David Yates with pink earmuffs was hilarious, just as Ralph and Alan. It was wonderful to see that they celebrated birthdays while being on set in their costumes and it’s sweet to see Tom kiss his Jade. Alan hugging Dan is definitely a treat for all Snarry-shippers. *haha*

  28. KS987 says:

Just saw DH2 again today. The fact that Harry Potter is over is very bittersweet, but even moreso to the cast. They’ve been working together for years, the younger cast growing up together on set for a decade, and now a huge chapter of their lives is over. The montage was amazing and I am glad that they showed what happened on the original last day of shooting. Seeing the trio hugging each other, more than anything, just made the fact it’s over sink in even more. But Harry Potter will live on forever.

  29. Joanna says:

On my DVD there is no video with an interview with Rowling and Dan :((( why so?? It was said that it would be on DVD… last like 60 min.

    • dook says:

There are different versions of this for sale. I think the Dan and JKR interview only come with the combo sets.

      • Joyce says:

According to what I’ve heard and seen, this is what each version has:

DVD and iTunes: Movie, deleted scenes, The Women of Harry Potter featurette, The Goblins of Gringotts featurette, trailer for the tour of the set.

Blu-Ray: Movie, deleted scenes, The Women of Harry Potter featurette, The Goblins of Gringotts featurette, trailer for the tour of Leavsden and pottermore, 60 min convo with Dan and Jo, cast goodbyes

  30. Silly says:

As a fan girl I got teary eyed. I got my Blueray copy of pt.2. I’ve already watched it 2x. Sad to see it end but as J.K. said the magic never dies. As fans we will have great HP memories of the movies.

  31. Joanna says:

combo set in only with Blue Ray or wut? Cuz in Poland we have only DVD (with more extras than it is written above but still there is no interview with Rowling and Dan) and Blue Ray only… I havent seen Blue Ray in outlets yet. Can I watch all the interview online?
