My Week with Marilyn is one of the highlights at this years Dubai International Film Festival. On Tuesday the 13th, a red carpet event will be followed at 8 pm with a screening of the movie at the Madinat Arena. Variety reported that Emma Watson will attend, along with Michelle Williams, Kenneth Branagh and Judi Dench. There has been no other confirmation of this, so I would say it’s still a rumour. We’ll bring you more information if it becomes available.
While we wait to see if this rumour is true, we do have a new promotional image of Emma as her character Lucy, thanks to Jennica.
I thought as we got closer to the event that at least one other source would come out, but this Variety source is roughly a week old. Hope she goes but totally wouldn’t blame her if she just wants to relax a little bit after her Hong Kong trip.

It seems Emma did not attend the Dubai International Film Festival. In fact, it seems nobody did. The film festival did take place, but I found nothing on the MWWM screening or any of the actors attending. Did they get the wrong date or something or was it a private screening after all?
Either way, Emma looks absolutely beautiful. And she’s already wrapped up her semester and is currently on break. I hope she has a great one. 🙂
Simon Curtis was there, but apparently none of the cast from MWWM went.
Awwww. From reading the comments, I am really dissapointed that nobody attented the premier. 🙁 Anyways, I can’t wait to see this movie when it comes out in theaters. 😀

I’m in no hurry, lol. I can always buy it on DVD when it comes out in stores. For those people out there who have seen it, you are the luckiest persons in the world. 🙂
