About HP being a great acting school (2007): "I got thrown in the deep end on the first one, but the Harry Potter films have been a pretty amazing acting school. When I got the part, the only thing I had apparently was some natural acting ability. I didn't know anything about making a film, and there was so much technically I had to learn and understand. I spent the first two films just constantly being in awe, not really knowing if I was doing it right, if I was any good or why I was there."

New Perks Clip and Interview on MTV

Emma Watson, Logan Lerman and Ezra Miller introduced a new clip from The Perks of Being a Wallflower Tuesday at 7:56pm ET on MTV. This was followed by a 30 minute interview on MTV.com.

UPDATE: The new clip and interview can now be seen on MTV’s website. They’ve chopped it into 13 parts so you can enjoy their ad 13 times.

    What Fun! Nice interview. I just saw a good interview with Stephen and Emma and the interviewer asked about “first Kiss”. Stephen’s was nice but poor Emma she said her’s was way too much tounge and it felt like a dishwasher. She didn’t name names so that’s good for the guy who decided to shove his tounge down her throat…lol. I guess he thought that since she was born in France that this would impress her. Poor kid.

    Is it just coincidence that Josh Horowitz brought up the ‘Olive Garden’ reference last year before she filmed Perks? Now he made her say the “…keeping up with the Kardashians,” Emma’s research material for the ‘The Bling Ring’. 😀
