Ten years. Ten years since Emma-Watson.net opened. Well, I should say version 2. There may still be some fans who remember Jo and the original EW.net. She passed it on to a new team and it has been going ever since. Our 10 year anniversary.
A lot has changed since we opened. Emma continued acting but has left Hermione behind, branching out into a variety of roles and film genres, made a mark in the fashion world, and works as a UN ambassador to further gender equality. The site has changed as well. All the original team members have moved on, except for me. Others have come and gone. Fans too have come and gone. Ten years ago this place was just jumping with excitement. Not many people are interested in fan sites these days. Will fan sites even exist five years from now?

I remember when Jo was running this site about 13 years ago. Stuck with ya’ll since the beginning. Thanks for the many updates on my favorite actress since around 2003. And thank you for not supporting the paparazzi or posting their pix of her. Congrats on this major milestone!

Are fan sites dying? I had no idea. I only visit this one now, but it used to be my main type of internet browsing, looking up pictures of all my favorite stars – they are a great resource for exactly the information I’m looking for. This is the only Emma Watson site I visit, and thanks for doing such a great job! Love the photo of the day. Even if there is no new information I ALWAYS open up the pic of the day and it brings me back to seeing the photo for the first time, whether it was sneaking to the library during middle school to see the hundreds of pictures of the Chamber of Secrets London premiere and trying to figure out if her dress whas white or light purple or if it was is a more recent event where I just look at one or two pictures and move on, haha! Love it either way.
Oh god, of course I remember Jo! Has this really been ten years already? Wow… Time flies way too fast! Still visit this site almost every day.
Jo worked on Emma’s website afterwards, didn’t she? Do you know what happened to that? Really miss EWO.

I must say I visit since probably 6-7 years. I didn’t know fan sites are dying, but I think this is very sad. Emma is not my Nr 1, she’s my one and only celebrity I am a fan of. I like how she is as a person, and what she does for the world. I must say I hope this fan site will never fade, becauce it’s so cool.

I’ve been visiting this site since I was around 11 so 2004? And I admit I don’t visit as often as I used to but I still love coming back now and again and will always see it as the most reliable source for Emma Info.
I think the fact that Emma herself follows you guys on twitter and had a link to this webiste back when she had EWO, shows how much this site is appreciated.
I really hope you can continue the good work – i’d certainly be gutted if it were to disappear!
