About whether or not she wants to remain an actress (2006): "I really don't know. Daniel and Rupert seem so sure. I don't know. I wouldn't want "Harry Potter" to be the last thing I do. Nothing is ever going to be quite on the scale of this. I appreciate that. And also I've come into acting in such a funny way. Most people who want to act have to sit through hours of auditioning and work their way up, whereas I seemed to have come straight in at the top, having had no experience at all. That's quite a strange position to be in, but amazing at the same time because it has given me so many options and choices. I definitely would like to try other films to see what it's like. I'd really like to try some theater, actually, because I think I would really enjoy that immediate response from an audience. I love making people laugh. I love to perform, but there are so many things I love doing (pauses) Maybe that seems ungrateful. I have been given such an amazing opportunity, but I'll just have to go with the flow and see what happens."

Should We Bring Back the Calendar Competition?

In December we ended our calendar competition. That post had the biggest response in comments we’ve had in a long time, with many people saying they were sad to see it go, or wished it could continue. I too was sad that the competition was over after so many years and have had thoughts of bringing it back. It’s been gone a few months now. Would you still like to have a competition? And do you have any suggestions for getting more people to participate in making calendars?

I know there has been a lot of Emma news the last few days. Sorry, I’ll try to catch up on that tomorrow.

For now, here is our calendar for March thanks to Jia.

In my opinion, the calendar competition should only be brought back if there are enough number of interested participants. If it is not the case, then you can select the best from all few entries submitted and post it as calendar of the month while a fresh idea comes into play.

Probably the voting system has to be improved too. The faster it can be done, the better for all of us. Maybe a good way to vote is by creating a survey. By doing this we can vote here and not using the email or google.

I think there are other features than can be improved, i.e. what happened with the Watson Weekly? The last magazine was issued… on 2012! .. almost 5 years of that. Also a new gallery is needed. If you are not going to have a gallery anymore, then remove the link. The chat also needs some attention, but well, I’m already going off-topic.

In the beginning this site had a lot of activity but now it has slowed down because is being left with only the people that are truly Emma fans. I hope we can help dook to keep this site alive as much as possible.

Thank you for the comments D-one. From the little response it appears there is not enough interest anymore. I think that might be a good idea for me to select one from entries if people do want to send them. The google voting actually worked rather well. The problem with a survey or poll on the site is that it is too open to cheating, and sadly, some people will cheat even for something like this.

The problem with Watson Weekly, the chat, and everything is lack of interest. Both from fans, and people to work on the site. I have tried a number of times to recruit new people but have not been successful. If I could find good people to help, the site could be active again, and with timely updates.
