About JK Rowling and Hermione (2007): "JK Rowling based the character on herself, so obviously she will have had a very strong idea of how she would develop, but maybe I have played a small part in the way she is growing up. It would be very flattering if I had. But I think that naturally I am so like Hermione anyway. J K Rowling has been really lovely and very supportive of the films - she comes on set and she is in e-mail contact with a lot of us. She just said to me, "You are Hermione, you have completely become her," which was just so nice and so generous of her.'"

Two Harry Potter Specials

Sunday evening CNN aired a Larry King special, Harry Potter – The Final Chapter. There are brief interviews with Emma, Dan, Rupert, Robbie Coltrane and Helena Bonham-Carter, Oliver and James Phelps, and JK Rowling. Visual effects supervisor Tim Burke also talks about how some of the scenes were created. There is some behind-the-scenes footage, and a new clip is shown at the end.

The TVGuide network also aired a special, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 Preview, hosted by Tom Felton. It includes interviews with JK Rowling, Emma, Dan, Rupert, Tom, Matt Lewis, Ralph Fiennes, Alan Rickman and red carpet interviews with other cast members. This special will air several more times in the coming week. Check local listings.

    Cannot wait any longer!! I’m going to see it next sunday though, two days after its released, in 3D with premiere seats 🙂 excited 😀

    Both specials were amazing. :). Hehe I loved it when Emma was talking about how kids thought she was a real witch. 😛

    I still can’t believe that it’s all coming to an end. I can still remember the day I got the first two books at the same time, as well as remember the first time I saw Sorceror’s Stone in theaters. And now it’s over. :(. Harry Potter is an amazing series and will live on forever. 🙂

    I love seeing the behind-the-scene stuff, because you see that Emma can laugh – normally she is so calm and pretty, but when you see her laugh, you knos that she is just a gril at 21 🙂

    But she is very pretty, and she is a very good atresse, I just like her better when she is a little bit more naturel 🙂
