Emma’s fashion sense was mentioned on the PurseBlog. It’s just one paragraph, but they had some nice things to say. Thanks to Jane for the tip.
The young actress Emma Watson, who plays Hermione Granger in Harry Potter, trotted out in LA when arriving for the Harry Potter primer. The 17-year-old actress is a millionaire by her own right at a young age, yet seems to stray from that of some of her US counterparts. Emma seems to always be dressed age appropriate, as in she dresses nice but not too old and not too revealing. Her fresh face and look has developed her a fan base, who were awaiting her arrival in LA. Found on her arm is a bag by a timeless designer with a younger appeal, a funky Chanel handbag. The bag was the perfect addition to her simple outfit.

as we all know, all the pics are made with photoshop.. i use it to all my pics in myspace. But even if they are making her look better, we know, that emma does have a nature beauty… You can't change her entire face after all! Her characteristics are in complete harmony. Now if they uce photoshop, that's for the best good.. i mean that tatler we are talking about! We wouldn't like to see emma with scars or anything else in her face…
Actually now that you mention it, yes I have seen her fan photos and sorry yeah I don't think she's wearing make-up :razz:, forget about them. But being very honest with all of you, these pictures are what I was stating before that she looks absolutely ordinary, not overly pretty and not at all ugly either, she looks like the normal teenaged girl that she is, except that we've all seen her at premiers with professionally done make-up and hair and designer cloths etc and she truthfully looks beautiful, maybe you've just got those pictures in youheads and obviously don't want to think that she would even remotely look like one of us or something. I get that being a fan, one doesn't like hearing anything negative about Emma or if it was anyone else for that matter, but that's just my view on her looks, not her over all character, I'm not calling her names or even saying anything about her being hideous, because even I know that would be untrue because she's not. Trying to PROVE that she's beautiful no matter what isn't going to work for others out there that don't think the same, it's how the world works and like they say, a picture speaks a thousands words, it's a different putlook for everone.
I'm sure Sam is just into those plastic-model-Paris Hilton types. Emma has natural beauty. And it's really sad that there's not a lot of guys out there that appreciate that.
did anyone hear thet hpootp won a teen choice award? i missed it, but thanks to harrypotterfanzone, i found out what it won… heres the quote "The 2007 Teen Choice Awards aired on FOX earlier this evening, where Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix took home the award for Choice Summer Movie

I think Sam should stop being bashed. I'm not taking sides or anyting, but I do think we should all be able to express our thoughts and opinions. But we should also consider how sensitive people are when it comes to their idols and role models. I think Emma has amazing beauty, with or without makeup. 🙂

O……K 😕 Let me get this straight, your all bashing me because… 1. I said that in MY OPINION, I think Emma is an average, normal PRETTY teenaged girl but obviously with LOTS of benefits and that she can look beautiful at times at outdoor events etc, but not overall beautiful. 2. I said the Tatler magazine made Emma's pictures 'plastic' and 'fake', not her personality, which yes they do with everyone else as well, and that she's not the only one, it's what they do. Now, reading my comments, I have not once criticized Emma's personality at all, so you obviously can't be bashing me for that right? 😕 I also haven't said anything negative about her looks, as I think she's pretty and have admitted in all my previous comments that she looks gorgeuos at premieres and most events that she attends, with additional help of course. So, that can't be it. Therefore your complaining about the fact that I don't think she's beautiful in real life? 😕 Are you all KIDDING me??!!!! 😡 That's just beyond low! P.S. I never liked Emma`s sense of style most of the time. But once in a while she wears something so cute or gorgeous. Everything just flatters her so theres nothing she can`t pull off. Theres just most things that I wouldn`t normally wear. She has her own style and just knowing that she dosn`t expose alot of her body and is so age appropiate conforts me in a way. I know this person is a romodel and she probably dosn`t even see herself as one. She has such a little ego and everything she dose is spunky and cute, so she can really pull off anything she wears. I am just so glad that people still understand that exposing yourself inappropiately is not needed in this industry. You will still have a fan base thats, better, stronger, and more loyal if you don`t do these things. And every celeb should know that. Emma wears make-up just like an ordinary girl, I don't think she has to go trough all those stages like washing her hair or doing her nails :wink:.

AGAIN, i totally agree with SAM. Emma is normal looking & there isn't anything so special about her. & just like SAM said, i haven't seen any pics of her without make-up. & btw, she is not so extra-ordinary in acting too. I mean so acts but not really that gd! All in all, emma is cute & she's an average actress. I don't see anything special about her. That's my opinion.

I'm wholly agree with you,MOI.Emma is special.I would even say she is a minion of fortune. 😛 But sometimes she is so tired of everlasting work and exuberant attention that she wants to be a simple girl herself.(i draw it from the interview with her participation) So….she realizes her singularity herself! :smile:That's enough!

as said before, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but i'm sure we've all realized here, this is a fan site supporting emma and everything about her, down to her looks. what can be ordinary to one person, it gorgeous to another, and lots of "hardcore emma fans" feel that way. so it's basically thin ice. oh, and uh, you would never see her without makeup, cuz which star doesn't at least have mascara and some lipgloss for an interview, and of course more for a photoshoot and premiere. the only way you can see her without it is through presonal pictures, which can't be posted here. but i'm sure that if you really wanted to see them you'll find them.
and a new layout please! i'd gladly help out with graphics if you want, but i just think that a site this popular should have a new layout, which it's been due for a while now

Emma looks great with or without makeup so lets just leave it at that. It doesn't make sense to fight over weather she looks good in makeup or not.

no one is "fighting" simply speaking aloud what we think. fighting as pointed out by rii would include vulgar language. but i as i stated before, this is an emma fan site, so there shouldn't have even been a discussion over this, ah, but what's life with out our opinions that contradicts others. as long as no one calls other people names, this is, as far as i'm concerned, a civilized discussion. it's only when people aren't mature about their statements is when there is fighting. now, apart from that, is there any news or photos from Ballet Shoes yet? I do agree that all magazines adjust the actress' face wuite a bit. Some actors and actresses go to photoshoots and bring their official "photo adjuster" with them so that the magazine doesnt show anything that they dont want them to. I think it's a shame that so much of Emma's natural beauty was covered up by the graphics-the cover page picture didn't even look like her!! I'm glad Emma doesn't plaster her face with so much make up! She has an excellent choice of style and make-up.
