Emma Watson attended the premiere of Struck by Lightning yesterday evening at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York. It was a Miu Miu day, with Emma wearing a jacket, blouse, skirt, pumps and wallet from the Prada brand.

This is def not one of my favourite looks.
The black jacket just doesn’t look good with those nice pale colours of her skirt and shirt. But apart from that she looks lovely.
I think she would look like a prude if that jacket wasn’t there. I think it sets off the whole look very nicely, and in fact, if the black of the jacket wasn’t there, the blue of her skirt would be incredibly washed out.
Who is the guy?
The guy is Roberto Aguire, one of the producers of Struck by Lightning. He also has an uncredited role in the movie, and is apparently a friend of Emma.

I hate to say it. . .awful look. Just no. . the hair just looks like she did it herself and didn’t put effort in( I hope thats true or the hairstylist should be sacked). . blue outifit and then a pink clutch?!! Also the leather jacket and the outfit together. . I love wearing leather jackets but doesn’t work with this at all. Even the outfit itself looks so cheap, like something you pick up a cheap Uk clothes shops like primark.I see stuff like that there. . .I love primark, but for a premiere. . just not for me.

Personally didn’t think there was anything wrong with the outfit. Anyone who says otherwise should probably start looking at some street style images and realize that shes very much in style with that look. And about it being inappropriate for a premier, honestly people have worn at lot worst things for a premier then that! But your problem seems to be that you find it to casual well you often get a mix of causal and dressier at a premier and Emma as struck an in between balance which is completely okay! Also your compliant about a blue outfit with a pink clutch?? Its like colour blocking but using different items to do that, whats wrong with that? Or just even having fun with colour and taking risks in your wardrobe. The pink clutch works perfect with the blue skirt!
Personally I wouldn’t of worn the jacket but it is part of her edgier style to take that classic girly outfit and match it with a rougher item. If she didn’t do that, she would not of come of as a prude as someone else said, it just would of looked like a simple classic, girly outfit which there is nothing wrong with.
My major thing is, shes looks really bored in some of the images. Is that just me? Usually you find a fun, laughing Emma through the whole thing but these her face sort of remind me of the Wedding Crashers premier when she had braces and wasn’t really smiling. That could just be me, but that is what they reminded me of.

Maybe she got the skirt/shirt from a loved one for her birthday, and promised them she’d wear it. Personally, I think she could make a rucksack look glamorous, she’s so beautifil
Lol, I doubt it — her shirt is by Miu Miu, which is very expensive.

What a beauty!! 🙂 It was a pleasant surprise to see her at this premiere. She also asked a question during the Q&A which there are videos on Youtube on. It sounds like she had a blast during the afterparty as she apparently had a dance-off. 😛 I hope she had a lot of fun.
