Emma appeared on the ITV program Travels in Written Britain today, a new series about “how the places of Britain have influenced writers throughout history.” Emma read an excerpt from George Eliot’s great niece’s diary. We have a video her segment. It’s not the best quality, but it’s all I’ve seen so far. Thanks to Danielle for sending it in.

She should get botox or something from thm to stop them from moving. But i do agree that not everyone is perfect. It is really annoying though especially when she is recitnig the midsummer nights dream in Ballet Shoes!
Pamela, that was rude for you to say such sort of thing about Emma. Also to everyone else whi is bashing Emma about her eyebrows, BACK Off. Nobody is perfect. And I also thought Emma did a good job in the video. She is such an elegant young beauty 🙂
Pamela, I despise actors/actresses who use botox. They wind up acting like complete robots and don't express emotions well. Why do people think acting=not showing emotions and keeping the same facial expressions? That is what I call BAD acting. Anyway, I loved this video and I hope that Emma does more of these in the future.

Come on, everyone is entitled to their own opinion so just let it go. Yes the eyebrow thing can be annoying but you dont have to watch her if you dont like it! Emma has her own style just leave her to it.

Im really getting mad that half of the Emma 'fans' are bashing her and saying the insident was her fault and she should have known better. I dont know why, but a lot of people (who claim to be Emma's fans) seem to think shes a perfect goody-two-shoes that would never do anything bad or slip up in anyway. Well all I can say, is that Emma is not Hermione ok, she human. Im those people can find a Hermione fansite somewhere on the net. 😡 😡 😡 😡

I really don't like the atmosphere in Emma Watson fansites, it's like you can't say anything negative about her(and don't worry AshleyLovesEmma, I'm not talking about the incident on her birthday party but in general). And as soon as you say something like 'She's not a great actress' or 'Well, I think this dress doesn't suite her' everyone's attacking you: You're just jealous! Well let's see if YOU can you do a better job! How dare you? I find that really frustrating. Emma is not perfect, she doesn't think so and I can't see why her fans should, either. Mind you, I understand that it's unreasonable if Emma haters just randomly bash her… but it's a different thing to say a reasonable comment about her acting, for example. But no matter how you try to say your point, everyone still attacks you. Sigh. This is not about this site in particular, but among Emma fans in general. It's been bugging me for a while now, but now I just HAD to say something when I first read all the (imo) well-reasoned, sensible posts in The Leaky Cauldron saying how she has problems with her eyebrow acting and how she should change it.. And then a post where someone just said that everyone who critisize Emma is just plain jealous and pathetic. I'm an Emma fan. I think she's wonderful but I do have problems with her acting, mostly in HP GoF and OotP. She really improved in Ballet Shoes and I'm eager to see her future projects, too. So no, I'm not a jealous, pathetic basher. —Rant ends.
You have the right to your opinion. However the problem is a fan site is NOT the best place to make complaints about her, and many who critique her basically harass fans who disagree and shove that view down her fans throats when her fans disagree. I think she is a great actress. I don't care if they disagree on other websites, but when they come on a site like this and start rants on how she MUST change comes across as arrogant, and is disrespectful to those who disagree with those complaints. They don't get that much respect because they don't show any. Had they said "If you disagree that is ok, this is just my opinion", then I personally wouldn't have a problem with it. However, many don't do that and act like their opinion is fact. That is why they get "attacked" sometimes. It isn't their opinion, but how and where they express it. Hope that clears things up.
Anyway, Jo said that Emma is currently fine, which is good to hear. It is best for her to ignore all of this, so that eventually this will go away and they will move on to something else.

She should use that energy to something else. Many people also complain about the panting, and it's probably a result of her thinking really hard not to do the eyebrow acting. I'm sure that with the help of right direction and coaching she'd get past it. And if the technique is right, she could loose herself more into the character, something I think she hasn't done so much in the Potter films thus far. I think she's been a bit stiff and over-the-top in some scenes. Emma has a lot of potential, I think she'll improve in HBP since she improved in OotP and Ballet shoes. 🙂

Those sites, that are disrespectful of Emma's privacy, may call themselves "fan sites", but their only purpose is to bash Emma. 99% of what they post is garbage from the tabloids. They've gotten a lot of attention this week and I'm really sorry to see that. Emma seems to be a really sweet girl and I hope this is not getting her down too much. As my grandma used to say – this too shall pass.
Don't go to those sites. They are known hater sites that do nothing but have false information and think tabloids are legit articles. They are either not that smart, or take their hate to a scary level. They even bash everyone who comes here. Only haters go to those sites. muggle_born, according to Jo apparently Emma is just fine. I am still mad at all of this obviously, but I am glad it isn't harming Emma too much.

Why is everyone making a big deal about her birthday party and her eyebrows and other stuff? 1: The paps are ALWAYS going to take photos. Even though its really disrepectful to ANY celebtriy, the reason they take those photos because they know people are going to comment on them. That's what everyone has been doing. 2: Who cares about her eyebrows moving around a lot? If that's what Emma does then why should we come out with vulgar comments? That's my two cents worth on this. But as for the video, it was wonderful and Emma has done a brillant job.
