Great news to start your weekend off with, the telegraph has a new interview with Emma along with a stunning new picture. She talks about being Hermione, her first acting experience outside of HP (Ballet Shoes) and more!

In many ways, it’s hard to separate her from Hermione Granger. ‘Yes, it is, isn’t it?’ she says all in a rush. ‘Sometimes even I get muddled which one I am, because I know Hermione so very well. My little brother, Toby, who’s three, gets very cross with me sometimes because when he sees me in Harry Potter he can’t understand how I can be Emma and Hermione at the same time,’ she says.

Very good news if you’re in Canada or New Zealand – Jo updated EWO today letting us know that Ballet Shoes will air in Canada and New Zealand! The exact date is unknown so far though.

She also let us know that unfortunately Emma’s twin half-sisters were cut from the film for time purposes for the UK airing, but you still might be able to see them in the film when it airs in other countries and in the Extras section on the DVD which is coming out January 7th!

Just a little update for now letting you all know that Empire Magazine has their list of 100 Sexiest Movie Stars and Emma is among them. Emma (number 26) along with Harry Potter co-stars  Dan Radcliffe (number 23), Alan Rickman (number 83), and Gary Oldman (number 72) all made the list.

Emma Watson comes in at 26 with the note: “She’s grown up well through the Harry Potter movies from bushy haired child to confident, elegant young woman.”

And thanks to our Order partner The Leaky Cauldron for letting us know that the Biography channel will air a documentary called “The Harry Potter Kids” which of course means they will focus on Dan, Rupert and Emma! The programme will air on the Biography Channel December 19 at 9:00pm (ET) then once more on December 20 at 1:00 am (ET).

They were virtually unknown when they were cast in the first Harry Potter movie in 2000, but Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint have since become worldwide stars. When Radcliffe won the coveted role as Harry in The Sorcerer’s Stone, he was plucked from almost compete obscurity. Grint was a fan of the books and wanted a part in the films so much that he sent a video of himself rapping about how much he wanted the role. Watson was just 11 and had almost no acting experience when the film was released. Today, all the Potter kids are grown, especially Watson, who has been named one of the world’s sexiest women by the magazine “FHM”.

Emma attended a very exclusive event last night – a Chanel dinner party hosted by Karl Lagerfeld in London. Emma was one of the few lucky celebrities that had the honour of attending. We will update the gallery with pictures soon, but for now you can check out the topic on our Forums’ here. 🙂

As if getting invited to events like this wasn’t enough, Emma along with co-stars Dan Radcliffe and Rupert Grint made Forbes’ Magazine Top-Earning Young Superstars  list.

The top-earning actor on the list, Harry Potter alter-ego Daniel Radcliffe, 18, earned $15 million. That’s more than performers twice his age, like Jennifer Aniston and Sandra Bullock, who earned $14 million and $10 million, respectively, made over the same period. The Potter franchise catapulted Radcliffe’s co-stars Emma Watson and Rupert Grint to the list with $4 million apiece. This summer’s fifth installment, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, was the second highest-grossing film of the year (edged out by Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End), raking in $938 million worldwide. The trio are already filming the follow-up, Half-Blood Prince.”

Dan listed at number six, Emma at 15 and Rupert at 16.
