“With her sweet and cheery voice, the lovely actress answers our questions about the 5th Harry Potter film from London. Emma talked about her experience and the changes that Hermione faced. If you want to know everything, keep reading!
PORTI: Hi, Emma. How are doing?
EMMA: Fine, thank you. Iβm very happy and anxious about the premiere.
PORTI: How would you describe Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix?
EMMA: Itβs very intense in an emotional way. The trio grows up and the deep plot will get them into serious trouble. You won’t be able to move from your seats! (laughs)
PORTI: Which is your favourite scene from the film?
EMMA: I really enjoyed when we all got together for the DA scenes. Harry, Ron, Luna, Cho, the Weasleys… the energy was so intense and between the cuts we joked around and it was so much fun.
PORTI: What’s the DA?
EMMA: The Defense Against the Dark Arts professor decides to teach only theory and no practice at all. Obviously, the students get upset about it, so Ron and Hermione decide to found this Army to study the subject. The cool thing is that afterwards it gets a more important function. Watch the film and you’ll see! (says Emma very excited)
PORTI: How do Harry, Ron and Hermione manage to stay together?
EMMA: They have a true friendship, right from the heart. They’re loyal and care about each other. Since the first book theyβve had very strong bond, and in fact Order of the Phoenix is based on friendship and union.
PORTI: JK Rowling said someone’s gonna die in the last book, we [editorial] think that it will be Ron, what do you think?
EMMA: That would tragical! Ron and Hermione are more than friends and oh, God! It would be horrible if he died. She’s got to tell him something before it’s too late!
PORTI: Uff! So much trouble! Tell us, what does Hermione has to deal with in this film?
EMMA: Ummm, she gets rid of her fear of failure and she convinces herself that her choices are the right ones. She doesn’t care that much on what others would say, she trusts herself and acts without a doubt.
PORTI: And you Emma, what have you learned from playing Hermione all these years?
EMMA: As an actress, I’ve learned to believe in my potential and to use it for the best. To give the best at all time. An in a more personal way, I learned that magic does exist and it’s everywhere, inside and out of you!
PORTI: If you were Hermione’s friend, what would you advise her?
EMMA: Don’t be so serious. Enjoy life!
PORTI: Imagine: you wake up and find out that the HP film were only a dream, How would you react?
EMMA: Oh, that would be weird, because this films are a part of me, and I can’t imagine living without them. I think I would go back to sleep and see what’s going on (laughs).
PORTI: What do you expect from HP 5 and what’s your message to the fans?
EMMA: I hope people really enjoy the film and that they walk out of the cinema very satisfied. And to my fans, I really appreciate your love and support. Kisses!”
