It seems that news will never stop coming in… and we love it! 😛
UHP posted 33 new OotP promo pictures… including two featuring Hermione. 😆 Click here & here to see them.

Oh and Claire also told us that a 13-minute Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix ‘first look’ will be premiering on US cable station HBO on July 3rd at 8:45 PM EST. And thanks to DR.net we now also know HBO Asia will be broadcasting a 24-minute version of their ‘first look’ of the movie before the premiere airing of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Part 2 of the special will be shown after the first broadcast of the movie at 11:30 pm. Lots of new footage coming! Isn’t it exciting?

Another update: many, many thanks to Geri from HPANA for sending us this article: it’s about Emma’s Tatler cover and it has some new and very interesting quotes, such as “There is no rule book for the career I am in. “Daniel Radcliffe’s naked West End debut in Equus jolted fans of the Harry Potter films with the realisation that the 18-year-old cannot realistically prance about in a boy wizard’s cape for much longer. His co-star, Emma Watson who plays Hogwarts girl wonder Hermione Granger, has now spoken of her hopes for an ivory tower degree.

You all seemed to love the Tu magazine photoshoot… well, now you’re gonna be able to enjoy the interview as well! 😆 The wonderful Elena very kindly translated it in English:
“How has your experience been like in this fifth film?
It’s been real fun, it’s been nice to have David Yates as a director, because he took this opportunity to do something really different and that’s great for us.
How do you feel with your character now?
In this film, Hermione is more like she was in PoA, she’s the one who leads Harry and Ron everywhere, she encourages them to do stuff, and she is the brain behind what’s going on. She tries to look up to Harry all the time, she keeps worrying about him. In this film we deal with Harry’s emotional journey, because in the last one we saw him fighting dragons, doing all those tasks that he had to go through, basically trying to stay alive, while in this one he has to face his demons and personal issues. Hermione’s job is to not let him isolate himself and to encourage him, to show him how valuable his friends are. In this film, I had a really good part. I really enjoyed it.

Do you get the HP books before they hit the libraries?
No, I had to queue to buy my Harry Potter & the Half Blood Prince book in the airport’s library during holidays, but I read it in two days. I loved it, I got teary-eyed and I’m still telling myself: No, Dumbledore will be back, he can’t just go like that.

Would you like to keep on acting after the HP films?
I would like to go to university, but I would definitely like to do some theater, and I think the Harry Potter movies are unusual, with all the time it takes to film them and how big they are, so I would definitely like to try other things. But who knows, one of the good things about it is to see all these options and offers I’ve got, and that makes me feel lucky. It’s great.

Is Snape good or evil?
From the beginning I felt he was going to do something big, and I really think he is evil, and the reason why he came back is because Dumbledore trusts people, he trusts them too much, and sometimes it’s not that good. We see Dumbledore as if he was perfect, he seems like the character from “To kill a mockingbird”, in that he relies blindly on people… and yes, forgive me for involving my English classes, but yes, he trusts too much, that’s what I think that was the message.”
For those of you who wonder about “To kill a mockingbird”, it’s a novel written by Harper Lee. It was published in 1960 and won the Pulitzer Prize in 1961. According to Wikipedia, it’s a coming of age story about a sister and a brother, who are growing up in the deep South of America in the 1930s. You now know which book to buy next time you hit the bookstore! 😛

First of all, many thanks to the awesome Siena for sending us this page from the J-14 magazine! It’s supposed to be about Emma’s style, but the article is commenting a picture of Hermione… *rolls eyes* 😉
Also, thanks to Vale from HarryPotterLA for scanning and sending us all these wonderful scans from the Mexican magazine Escuela de Magos… Aren’t they great? 🙂

Emma on a Bus // 03 June 2007

New Emma photoshoot and appearance! // 3 June 2007

We have soooo much news for you today…
First of all, yesterday, Emma attended a gala for the Raisa Gorbachev Fundation (which raises funds to fight child cancer). The theme was “A Midsummer Russian Fantasy”, which is, if I’m not mistaken, a reference to Shakespeare’s “Midsummer Night’s Dream”. And Emma’s outfit was perfect for the theme, she looked very glamourous! But you can see that for yourself here, where our dear friend Fred uploaded 16 pics of this new event 😆
Emma also graced the cover of the Chilean magazine Tu, which means that we have two pics from a new photoshoot… and you’ll see that Emma is definitely turning into a young woman! First, the Teen Vogue photoshoot with Dan & Rupert, then the Raisa Gorbachev appearance, and now this awesome photoshoot… It’s amazing to see her grow up like this! 😆 Click here & here to see the pics.

Update: thanks to FashionQueen from the Sassy! boards, we now know that Emma’s dress at the Raisa Gorbachev gala is from the Chanel Spring 07 Couture (I guess that means I can never afford it… 🙁 ). You can see a pic of a model wearing it here. Seriously, I swear it’s not because I’m a fan of Emma, but don’t you think the dress looks way better on her than on the model? 😉
