Edit: Huge news just in! You can now open the Door at JK Rowling’s website! Here’s how you open the door, highlight the text to read it, beware of BIG SPOILERS (Book 7 Title)!

Click on the ruber at her desk to get to the door, then click on the knob of the door in the mirror, or just around it then a tree appears then click the middle of the main door to see a wreath, then click on the top of the mirror to see a garland, then click on the spider web to make them go away, click on the 4th wind chime outside the window and the key will appear, take the key to the lock and the door will open! There’s gonna be a present of the desk, click on it and inside there’s a hangman game, play it and you will find out the title of  Book 7! Which is:

Hey everyone,

In other news, the London Free Press is also reporting that Emma is interested in moving to the US. Personally I don’t think it’s true at all, and that this story is just a rumor copied from another site. I think Emma loves England too much. She also talks all the time about how she wants to keep her life as normal as possible, so I really don’t think the Hollywood lifestyle would interest her. But we’ll see.

Happy Saturday! (lol) Emma news is still very slow but we found some pics from the Empire Awards that we didn’t have in our galleries, so here they are:

Also Magic Music Box has three ‘rare’ trailers of PoA, nothing that new, but these trailers are pretty exciting! To watch them:

Hello Emma fans! 🙂

Lately as you can see we haven’t had many Emma news! But I hope you guys will understand that it’s not our fault!

Now if you live in London, on the 30th of December the Riverside Studios are having a Harry Potter day! What’s that? Well they’re gonna be showing all the Harry Potter movies in just one day! You can view the timetable here. Great way to end 2006, right?

Also yes! It’s that time of month again! The calendar competition! The first calendar of 2007, January! So get creative and make sure you follow the rules, the size can be either 1024×768 or 800×600, it has to have Emma-Watson.net and January on it, calendars should be in by the 28th of December, all entries must be sent to emmawatson.graphics@gmail.com! Good luck! 😉

Music Video Contest For The New Year!!!

Hello everybody, this is Neve (the staff member who’s in charge of the Music Video of the Week section in WW).

I wanted to let you know about a contest we’re organising to celebrate the New Year. As you all know, OotP will be released in July 2007 so we thought it would be a good idea to start 2007 by making a tribute to Hermione. She is, after all, the character that made Emma famous! We came up with the idea of a music video tribute… The rules are simple: you make a music video about Hermione. It can be emotional, funny, or even an action video: the choice is yours, the key word is to BE CREATIVE! The only limit we decided to set is that shipper videos (Ron and Hermione, Harry and Hermione, Draco and Hermione…) are NOT allowed. We’ll make a special shipper music videos contest later. Anyway, back to the Hermione music video contest. You have to use Hermione-related material: clips from the movie or from the HP skit that was shown at the Queen’s 80th birthday, promo pictures, or even drawings. But no Emma-related stuff, OK? This is only about Hermione Granger. Once your music video is ready, please upload it to any host (MegaUpload, SendSpace…but NO YouTube link will be accepted) and send me the link to emmawatson.contest@gmail.com. You can also PM on the boards, my username is Neve (yeah I know big surprise!). Please give me some information about your video: why you chose the song you used, which aspect of Hermione you wanted to show or whatever you feel is interesting to know about your music video…It’ll help me write the article presenting your music video if you win. And speak of winning, there will be THREE winners and their music videos will be featured in the first WW of 2007 . The deadline is the 5th of January so get going!

We promised so here it is! Thanks to staffer Neve we have the translation of the interview featured on yesterday’s One magazine scans! Since it’s quite a lengthy interview we decided to post only Emma’s part, if you wanna read Rupert’s part head over to RGN. On the other scans there’s nothing new so I don’t think there’s a need for a translation.

How David Yates is different from the other directors you’ve worked with?

Emma: David is very precise and very demanding regarding how we play our parts. He’s always seeking perfection and won’t hesitate doing several takes until our performance is perfect. It’s often exhausting but I feel like I’m getting better as an actress.

You’ve known each other for more than 6 years. Do you still get on with each other?

Emma: I have to say that it’s hard sometimes… No, I’m just kidding, obviously! Our friendship is everything but false and I kinda think of Daniel and Rupert as brothers. For six years, we’ve seen each other almost everyday and we’ve learnt to know each other. Rupert and Daniel are a part of my life. We’ve helped each other through some difficult times on the set and we’ve also shared amazing experiences together…

You just finished the 5th movie. Are you going to do the two others?

Emma: I still haven’t taken any decision. I’m still hesitating to play Hermione in the last two movies. Each movie takes about 10 months to make, during which we don’t really see our friends. It’s really exhausting… And I’m also thinking about my studies. I’d like to go to university. So I’m still thinking about it…

(Rupert then says that it would be a pity to stop there and that he would feel weird playing with another actress… He says that he thinks she’ll choose to continue)

Emma: Maybe you’re right (laughs)

Emma, does it mean you’re not sure about wanting to continue to be an actress?

Emma: I have no idea at all. Daniel and Rupert are so sure about their future, they know they’re meant for this job but I don’t know. Before Harry Potter, I had no experience at all as an actress, I had never been to an audition. I fell into the cinema completely by chance! I’d like to do just like Rupert and play in other movies and maybe do some theatre to have some real contact with an audience. I’m taking my time to think about what I’ll do after Harry Potter. There’s no rush…

Do you like being recognised in the street or wear classy clothes at the premieres?

Emma: It’s always embarrassing for me when people come to me in the street, I’m rather shy. About the premieres, contrary to Rupert, I like them. But that’s probably because I’m a girl! It’s nice to get ready and be pretty in front of the photographs.

What’s the best thing celebrity gave you?

Emma: Travelling all around the world, and in first class! Had I not played in Harry Potter, I’d probably have never visited China, Japan, New York… That, is awesome.

Does it make things easier to get a boyfriend?

Emma: No, far from that! Often, the guys I like don’t even dare to talk to me, because they think I’m inaccessible and that I’m going to look down on them. But that’s not the kind of person I am at all. I still haven’t got a boyfriend, but I’m not losing hope. I’m still waiting for my Prince Charming!

JKR said that several characters will die in the last book. Do you think that Ron or Hermione will be one of them?

Emma: Everything’s possible. I don’t know if Ron or Hermione will die in the last book but I think it’s more likely that they’ll kiss. It’s going to happen, it’s inevitable!
