Universal has released a few more pictures from the Wizarding World tour by Emma and other HP cast members. I’ve added them to the gallery along with the earlier photos.

Emma, Robbie Coltrane, Matthew Lewis, and James and Oliver Phelps visited the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park today for a sneek peek tour.

In this video, Emma talks about her visit to the park, “Being here was actually really moving and emotional for me, because I know the sets are going to come down, but this will be here forever.” Thanks to Samantha for the tip.

Emma appeared on NBC’s Today Show this morning to announce the winner in a contest called “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Most Extraordinary Class Contest” in which students from across the country submitted videos explaining “why my class is extraordinary”. The winning class get a trip to the opening of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Florida.
Variety is reporting that Emma is in talks to star in a film adaptation of Stephen Chbosky’s coming-of-age drama Perks of Being a Wallflower, along with Logan Lerman (Percy Jackson and the Olympians). The 1999 novel chronicles the life of Charlie, a shy and unpopular teenager, through a series of letters in which he describes his troubles with making friends, first love, experimenting with drugs, and other struggles of adolescence.
New HP behind the scenes videos coming soon.
New Harry Potter behind-the-scenes video clips will be released with with the LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4 video game which comes out next month. “Fun on the set of Harry Potter” features Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Gring. It runs 4 minutes 14 seconds and includes clips titled Car Crazy, Cat-astrophe, Quidditch Pitch Pranks, Troll Trouble, Tea Break and Mandrake Mayhem. Thanks to Snitchseeker for the tip.

National Movie Awards
An article in the Sun says “On 26 May, the hottest movie stars from Tom Cruise to Emma Watson will walk the red carpet at London’s Royal Festival Hall”. I don’t know if this means Emma will be there, or if they are just using star names in general to attract search engines. It would make sense for her to be there since she is nominated for Best Performance, but I haven’t seen it confirmed elsewhere.
Music Video Rumor
The CoffeeBreak blog is reporting that Emma will be in a music video by the British band One Night Only for their song Say you don’t want it. The lead singer is George Craig who appeared with Emma in the Spring Summer Burberry campaign. Emma was reportedly seen filming at various places in New York Monday evening.

We have new wallpapers from Jules, Adrian, Riley and VanDerdark, a new banner from Elena, and a new respect banner from Tom.
Also, I have finally revised the restyle section (with the creators name where known) and then added a lot of new ones from Natalia, Jenny, Stephanie, Mahnaz, Noum, Sophie, Shirley, Caitlin, Indhu, Bianca, Sara, Riley, fresh, Kala, Elena and Waqas.

NBC’s Today Show held a contest called “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Most Extraordinary Class Contest” in which students from across the country submitted videos explaining “why my class is extraordinary”. An article at the University of Houston website is reporting that the winner will be announced live by Emma Watson on the Today Show this Thursday, May 20. If this is true, we’ll have video up asap. Thanks to J for the tip.
The June Calendar competition is now open.
The nominees for the 2010 MTV Movie Awards have been announced, and Emma has made it to the final round in the Best Female Performance category for her role as Hermione in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Tom Felton is up for Best Villain and Daniel Radcliffe is nominated for Best Male Performance and Global Superstar. You can also vote for Half-Blood Prince as Best Movie.
Voting is now open here and will continue though June 5. You must register on the site to vote. The awards show will air on June 6.
Emma deserves some popcorn, so let’s get voting. 🙂

Emma Watson appears in the latest issue of Vanity Fair. In the UK edition, Emma talks about university, growing up with Harry Potter, fame, and friends. The US edition of the magazine has cut down the article to almost nothing, a couple paragraphs. Here are my scans from the US edition. I think that third one came out pretty good.
