Upcoming TV appearances:

Emma is scheduled to appear on the Blue Peter show Wednesday December 3 according to this Heads Up on CBBC. Hopefully someone in the UK will record this so we can all enjoy it. Thanks to Tayna again for the tip.

And as mentioned in previous updates, Emma, Dan and Rupert will appear in some exclusive looks at HBP during the ABC Family Harry Potter Weekend, December 5 through 7, and Emma will reportedly be a guest “elf” sometime during the Today show Toy drive which runs December 1 through 23.

Emma attended Press Night for the play In a Dark Dark House yesterday at the Almeida Theatre in London. We’ll update with more details if we get them, but for now, we have a few pictures courtesy of Celebutopia.

Emma is again in the German edition of In Touch, this time with a photo from Somerset House. Thanks to Charly again for the scans, and translations of the captions. The first one says, Look out, here I come! “Harry Potter”-Star Emma Watson turned at the opening of the ice rink in front of the “Somerset House” as a guest of honor a few laps on the ice: “It is Christmas and beautiful”, she enthuses. The smaller says Watch out and play up! Emma had as much fun at skating as the kids.

J!-Ent has reported that Emma will be one of the celebrity guests during this years NBC News’ Today show annual toy drive. Special celebrity guest “elves” help with the gift collection every morning on the air at 8:30 a.m. This year’s celebrity elves include Matthew Broderick, Heidi Klum, Kevin Bacon, Drake Bell and Josh Peck, Emma Watson, Kristin Chenoweth, Emma Roberts, the members of Fall Out Boy and many more. The toy drive runs from December 1 to 23. This hasn’t been confirmed elsewhere, and there is no mention of what day Emma might be on the show. Thanks to KS987 for the tip.

ABC Family channel will air the first four Harry Potter movies during the Dec 5-7 weekend as part of its 25 Days of Christmas. A special extended version of Goblet of Fire will be televised which includes deleted scenes.

There will also be exclusive first looks at Half-Blood Prince through the weekend. Emma, Dan and Rupert will discuss the film and some insider secrets during these segments. source

Emma turned on the Christmas lights at a VIP opening of the Somerset House Ice Rink in London today. From the Press Association:

Watson turned on the lights on the Tiffany Christmas tree decorated with huge blue ice skates. She said she was “absolutely delighted” to be officially performing the switch-on.

Wearing a red scarf and a black coat, she added: “I’ve been coming here since I was about 13 and I absolutely love it. It’s Christmassy and wonderful.”

Wonderful new pictures to get you into the Christmas spirit!

And speaking of Christmas, we have decided to do a Christmas project again. We know it’s late. It’s been a very busy autumn for all of us, and we just haven’t had time. We couldn’t just do nothing though, so we are doing a smaller project this year. The theme will be Christmas and New Year’s traditions. Here’s your chance to tell Emma some of the things you do that make the holidays special to you. You can also send in holiday messages to Emma. The traditions and messages will be printed and sent to her. Christmas is coming fast, so the deadline is December 1. At the link below you can read more information and how to participate.

Sorry for the downtime. The site is back online, but I still need to fix some things. I should have everything sorted by the end of the day.
