Ok, Emma speaking French isn’t that surprising, but we rarely get to hear it. On the French TV Canal + program Le Petit Journal People they asked  several celebrities at Fashion week to say “Bonjour le Petit Journal”, including Claudia Schiffer, Paul McCartney and Emma. Fashion writer Derek Blasberg was at Fashion Week and had this to say about Emma in his Style.com blog:

The sweetest person I’ve met this Paris fashion week has been Emma Watson, the 18-year-old British actress making her first trek to the Parisian collections. “I’ve been to fashion shows before, like the Chanel show that was in London in December,” she told me. “But this is the first time I’ve been to shows like this. This is my first time at fashion week, and let me tell you, it’s pretty intense.” She’s made a pretty good first run: spending a few hours actually looking at the pictures at Patrick Demarchelier’s exhibit at the Petit Palais (how novel) on Tuesday night, attending Sonia Rykiel’s anniversary fashion show and party (”That was amazing!”), and going to a handful of the big fashion shows, like Giambattista Valli (”I don’t even know where to begin”) and Chanel (”Now, that was a big deal”). But Watson’s got her sights on something beyond mere fashion: After her time in Paris, she’s planning a trip to the East Coast to look at universities.

Well, it looks like Paris Fashion Week is finally winding down. No more events with Emma. She had planned on going to the Alexander McQueen show, but so far I haven’t seen any pics of Emma, or any other celebrities, so not sure what’s going on with that. Anyway, here’s a couple last items. The Times had an article on Emma’s special relationship with Chanel. The Telegraph has a video about the Sonia Rykiel show. Emma appears for just a few seconds at the beginning, but it’s a lively and spirited Emma. 🙂   Thanks to Alin and Melissa for the tips.

For this month’s SOTM we have selected EmilyBluntWeb.com, a fan site for the English actress Emily Blunt. While it is a fairly new site, they already have quite a bit of information and a large gallery. If you’ve heard the name, but not quite sure who she is, she’ll be in Wild Target with Rupert Grint. Emma had a very different look as she attended the Sonia Rykiel show yesterday. Only a few pics have appeared so far, but people who have been hoping Emma would wear her hair down are in for a treat.

Let’s catch up on some news. 😉

As I’m sure you know by now, it’s Paris Fashion Week, and Emma has been to a few events already. First was the Christian Dior Ready to Wear show on Monday. We have pics from her arrival and front row seats at the runway in the gallery. Next was the Balenciaga Spring/Summer show. Only one picture has surfaced so far. Emma also attended the party for the Patrick Demarchelier exhibition. A few pics have come out and you can see them here. Credit for some of the pics to Celebutopia, but probably really OhMyWatson.

Emma will be attending two more shows on the 3rd, so I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of her.

Teenvogue.com has a feature on their fashion blog about Emma’s outfit at Christian Dior. Thanks to online editor Naomi for letting us know.

People.com also has posted about Emma at the Christian Dior show in their StarTracks, saying “Dressed to impress in the front row, Dita von Teese, Katy Perry, Emma Watson and Zoe Saldana all join forces Monday at the Christian Dior runway show in Paris.” Thanks to Alex for the tip.

Ok, everyone. Yes, I know there are lots of new pictures, and no updates. The gallery is having issues. If you have been there recently, you may have noticed how slow it is. Adding new pics would probably kill it completely. I hoped to have the problems resolved by now, but sometimes things take longer. 😕
