News is rather slow again. 🙁 There are some rumors about when the first Half-Blood Prince trailer will show up, but nothing is certain yet. Other than that, it’s quiet. Hopefully things will get going soon.

So, let’s start the August calendar competition!

• The size of the calendar should be 1024×768 or larger
• Calendars must be in a common graphics format such as jpg, tiff, gif or png.
• It must have Emma-Watson.net and August on it
• Your calendar should be in by the 28th of July.
• No more than 3 entries per person please.
• All entries must be sent to emmawatson.graphics@gmail.com
• If you use hotmail or msn, please attach the picture to your email as a FILE, not a PICTURE. Choosing PICTURE will shrink the image to a small size.

The July Movie Magic is now out and has a huge article on the HP trio and others. Megan from Magical Menagerie sent over some selected scans with Emma. This collectors edition is on sale now through October 6, but they do sell out so get your copy now.

The trailer for The Tale of Despereaux is now online at Yahoo Movies. Emma voices the character of Princess Pea in this animated film. You can see Princess Pea in the trailer at 1:34 and 2:05. Thanks to Kristi and Hermiron from the forums.

Just a little update to let you know that you can read a brand new e.m.s on EWO  😆  Looks like Emma is finally getting some well-deserved free time!

An exhibition at the National Media Museum includes a photograph of Emma Watson according to the Telegraph & Argus.

A photograph on display of Harry Potter star Emma Watson was used to create the doll of her character, Hermione. The process of taking pictures for publicity and merchandise is done throughout filming, says Michael (Harvey). This could mean re-shooting a whole scene — some directors are more co-operative with this than others!

Live by the Lens. Die by the Lens: Film Stars and Photographers “explores the complicated relationship between stars, publicists, photographers and the media.” The exhibit features photos of over 100 movie celebrities, from film legends like Greta Garbo and Katherine Hepburn through todays stars like Keira Knightley, Russell Crowe, and Emma. The exhibition runs through 28 September.
