About the outdoor sets in the Deathly Hallows (2009): "It was so nice to be outside, in the forest and out of the studio - running about. It was so much fun. Because it's such an emotional, heavy film, it was nice to get out and do some action stuff. They were very fun scenes to film. Being out of Hogwarts just makes it really different. It just gives the audience a whole different experience. I'm so excited to see it together."

Emma’s 27th Birthday

Saturday, April 1st, 2017

Every year creates a birthday project as a way for fans to show their support for Emma. This will be our 12th year! Let’s make it a good one.

You can send in birthday messages, art work, poems, stories, photos, video messages or anything else you can think of to say Happy Birthday. We’ll try to include everything. The finished birthday card will be posted online.

April Calendar

Saturday, April 1st, 2017

We aren’t resuming an organized competition, but if you would like to send in calendars I will post them here and select one as our calendar of the month. Send them to before the last day of the month.

Here is our calendar for April thanks to Jia.

Should We Bring Back the Calendar Competition?

Thursday, March 2nd, 2017

In December we ended our calendar competition. That post had the biggest response in comments we’ve had in a long time, with many people saying they were sad to see it go, or wished it could continue. I too was sad that the competition was over after so many years and have had thoughts of bringing it back. It’s been gone a few months now. Would you still like to have a competition? And do you have any suggestions for getting more people to participate in making calendars?

I know there has been a lot of Emma news the last few days. Sorry, I’ll try to catch up on that tomorrow.

For now, here is our calendar for March thanks to Jia.

Happy New Year!

Calendar Competition Comes to an End

Saturday, December 17th, 2016

After more than 10 years and over 3700 entries our calendar competition is ending. Interest has been waning over the past year and this month only two people sent in entries. I am sad about this, but I think it’s time.

Thank you to all who sent in calendars over the years. Some of you entered many times, some only once, but I hope you all enjoyed the competition. I also want to thank the people who took the time to vote, especially a handful of you who have voted every month for years.

December Calendar Vote

Monday, November 28th, 2016

Time to choose our December calendar.

Remember, you only get to vote one time. Do not vote multiple times from different emails, and do not ask your friends to come and vote on your calendar. Let’s keep the competition fair.

To vote with a google account

Just sign in to your google account then go here to view the calendars and rate them with 1 to 5 stars. No more trying to choose one favourite, opening multiple windows, or having to write your choices in an email. If you don’t have a google account, you can still vote the old way below.

To vote without a google account.

  1. View the calendars here. Click on the thumbnails to see a larger preview image. Take your time, make sure you scroll all the way to the end and check out all the calendars.
  2. Choose your favourite 5 calendars, and write down their numbers in order, from best to 5th place. You don’t have to choose 5, you can vote for just one if you like, but you can vote for 5.
  3. Send your vote in an email to .

Voting is open through December 1, 00:00 GMT.
