Christmas Project

People often ask about sending Emma gifts. On her site, Emma asks people not to do that, and suggests donating to UNICEF, a charity she supports, if they really want to do something to make her happy.

New HBP Photoshoot Pictures

Some new photos of Emma from the Half-Blood Prince photoshoot have surfaced. These have a new outfit and a new look for Emma with her hair in a braid. Thanks to EmmaWatsonsMagic.

Emma, Dan and Rupert Support Children in Need

A special appeal from Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint aired on yesterdays Children in Need fund raising program. The charity’s mission is “to make a positive change to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.” The trio recorded these segments on the DH set back in August. The fundraiser so far has raised over £ 20 million. If you would like to donate, there is information at the end of the video, or on the Children in Need website.

Here is another batch of videos promoting the release of Half-Blood Prince and the Ultimate DVD editions.

In this clip from “Creating the World of Harry Potter – Part 2: Cast and Characters” David Heymann reads a statement from Jo Rowling at the press conference to announce the cast in which she approves of Chris Columbus’ casting choices, and wished Dan, Emma and Rupert the best of luck.

In a second clip from The Magic Begins we hear about the moment when Emma, Rupert and Dan hear they got the part. Thanks to Oclumencia.

Lots of New Videos

A lot of videos promoting the arrival of Harry Potter DVDs are appearing online. The DVD for Half-Blood Prince as well as the Ultimate Editions of Sorcerer’s Stone and Chamber of Secrets will be released soon (or already released in some countries). The videos contain sneak peeks of the bonus features that are included on the DVDs. I’ll be posting those that contain new footage with Emma.

In this first one, Emma gets a Dark Mark on her arm from the chief makeup artist on the HP films.

The Pitfalls of Teenage Love talks about the romantic entanglements between the characters.

December Calendar Competition

Let’s start the December calendar competition.

  • The size of the calendar should be minimum 1024×768.  Higher resolutions are good. Widescreen is also allowed.
  • Calendars must be in a common graphics format such as jpg, tiff, gif or png.
  • It must have Emma-Watson.net and December on it.
  • The deadline to submit calendars is 00:00 GMT on November 25.
  • No more than 3 entries per person please. All entries must be sent to emmawatson.graphics@gmail.com
  • If you use hotmail or msn, please attach the picture to your email as a FILE, not a PICTURE. If you use picture, it will shrink the image to a small size.

I’ve added all the entries from the last three competitions to the Fans page under Fan Graphics.

Lorenzo Agius Photoshoot

You’ve seen these photos in a lot of different magazine scans, and now we finally have some HQs. These are from a photoshoot by Lorenzo Agius in August 2008 I believe. Click the preview below to see them in our gallery. Thanks to our friends at Sassy.

More Scans

Emma news is rather slow lately as I’m sure you’ve noticed, but we do have a few scans for you.

Australia’s Girlfriend magazine had a feature on how to get Emma’s style. Thanks Ronette. Bravo in Germany has an article on Emma. Thanks Selma. Total Film had a little mention of Emma in their December issue. Thanks Tanvi. And the October issue of Interview had a picture of Emma on the DH set in a page of photography by Derek Blasberg. The pic of Emma is below, full page is here. Thanks David.

I posted this scan from Grazia earlier, but without any translation. Thanks to Kristina and Maria who let us know the article is about celebrities wearing dresses decorated with glimmering pailettes. It says Emma is growing not day by day, but hour by hour, and that the elegant Burberry dress proves it.

A few new images from the Vogue Italia photoshoot have recently appeared. I haven’t found them without a large tag, but they are still worth posting. Credit to heellxchiic.skyblog.com
