About choosing to study in the US (2009):"Well, I did a Shakespeare course at RADA [Royal Academy of Dramatic Art] last summer, and three quarters of the students were from abroad, mainly the United States. I started talking to them about what they were doing at their schools, and I respected the approach. Here, I feel the specification is very narrow, whereas in America, you're encouraged to be broad and choose many different subjects. For someone who has missed as much school as I have, I want to go back and discover what else there is. I always loved school-I was a proper, proper nerd. I just want that back again."

Empire Magazine Photoshoot

The June issue of Empire Magazine has an interview with Daniel Radcliffe and David Heyman talking about their years working on Harry Potter, and the current filming of Deathly Hallows. There’s not much about Emma in this, but the issue also includes a portfolio of actors from the past 20 years to celebrate Empire Magazine’s 20th anniversary. Emma, Rupert and Dan are featured in one of these shots. There is a quote from each about what it was like to be part of the Harry Potter experience. Emma says, “On the first Harry Potter film, when my beloved hamster Milly died, all of the Harry Potter set department made me a wooden and velvet-lined coffin with ‘Milly’ on the front. I don’t think a hamster has ever had such a spectacular send-off”.

I’ll try to get some scans of the article later, but for now, we do have a medium sized version of the photo that was used in the article.

Even More Pictures from Piccadilly, EWO and a Site Award

I’ve updated the gallery with more pictures from Piccadilly Circus where Emma, Rupert and Dan have been filming scenes from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I have another batch of pictures that I’ll upload soon.

Jo has updated EWO about Emma’s interview in Interview. We already told you about this, but now you can let Jo and Emma know what you thought about the article and pictures.

Emma-Watson.net has been chosen Site of the Month at Edward Cullen Source. Thank you guys for the lovely award, and the wonderful comment with it. We appreciate it. 🙂

It’s hard to find an ever-lasting excellent source of an artist, but not impossible. We believe Emma-Watson.net is probably one of the few sites left who has managed to stay true to their actress, respecting her career as well as her personal life, which is admirable. It never lacks the latest information, media downloads, etc you need to know and even when some people compare Twilight and Harry Potter, we want to let you know we love Harry Potter as much and we are more than proud of their site and of Emma’s amazing talent and warm-hearted personality. Keep up being so wonderful, you deserve it.

Another Day of Filming in London

Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe were in Piccadilly Circus for another day, or should I say night, of filming for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. We’ve added pics from todays filming and yesterdays to the gallery. I’ve also updated the gallery with more pics from the scene where Emma is in the red dress. Thanks to Oclumencia, Snitchseeker and Celebutopia.

Lorena from RupertGrint.net had the opportunity to go and watch the filming, and has uploaded her own video and images here and here.

More Photos and Videos from the Deathly Hallows Filming in London

Emma Watson in Interview Magazine now Online

An excerpt of the feature with Emma Watson in Interview Magazine is now online.  Emma was interviewed by Derek Blasberg, a fashion journalist who she has met a number of times, and so goes beyond the typical interview questions/answers we hear over and over. I think you’ll enjoy it. There are also more pictures, by Nick Knight, with the article.

There are also new posters for Half-Blood Prince that were released today, including this new one for Hermione. I think this one looks much better than the last, more realistic.

HBP date changed, Calendar Comp // 16 April 2009

I think you’ve heard by now that the opening date for Half-Blood Prince in the US has moved up a couple days. It will now open on July 15. Let’s hope this will be the last change. I’ll update the countdown when I get a chance.

We have a scan from the German In Touch magazine thanks to Charly. It looks like a weekly horoscope, but they mention Emma’s birthday. 🙂
