About reading HP books now that she plays Hermione (2005): " Now that I've done the film, when I'm reading the book, I can see Dan, Rupert and I actually doing it. It's really funny, I have this little picture in my head. "

Harper’s Bazaar Best Dressed // 17 January 2009

Previously we posted that Emma was in the UK Harper’s Bazaar Best Dressed list for 2008 which was published in the December issue. They now have the list online, with Emma on slide 17. Untameable shrew sent us a screen cap. Emma was also on the 2007 best dressed list and he sent that cap too.

We also have a scan from the magazine thanks to bravelittletoaster.

Emma is featured on Elle UK’s Fashion Trends page as the leader of the Sloane Fashion Tribe. Ok. I’m not sure exactly what that means 😛

Now, this one I understand. Emma is also on their list of Iconic Outfits of 2008 for her outfit at the Yves Saint Laurent show. Thanks to Lena for the tips.

There is another press video for Tale of Despeareaux online. You can view it on Cinepop. It’s hard to hear Emma because of the Portuguese voiceover, but she looks lovely. Thanks to Gravity for the tip.

And now, time for the February calendar competition.

  • The size of the calendar should be 1024×768 or larger

  • It must have Emma-Watson.net and February on it
  • Your calendar should be in by the 29th of January.
  • No more than 3 entries per person please.
  • All entries must be sent to emmawatson.graphics@gmail.com
  • If you use hotmail or msn, please attach the picture to your email as a FILE, not a PICTURE. If you use picture, it will shrink the image to a small size.

In the last update we had some scans of the German In Touch. Thanks to Marietta we now have a translation of the text. I’ve added a link in that update.

Finally, people have been asking about the picture used in the SOTM award from Magical-Menagerie.com. According to IHeartWatson, it is from a Murray Close photoshoot for Teen magazine in 2006. Unfortuneately it’s only a low quality version.

Teen Vogue Best Dressed and more // 9 January 2009

Emma is #1 on Teen Vogue’s Ten Best Dressed list for the month of December. Emma was “sheer magic” in the blue dress by William Tempest at The Tale of Despereaux premiere. Thanks to Naomi at TeenVogue.com.

Designer William Tempest talked a little about Emma in a recent interview for FemaleFirst.co.uk, saying that at 18 “she’s quite classic isn’t she? but still she wants to be young and edgy as well.” Read the whole article here. Thanks to untameable shrew for the tip.

People magazine’s Style Watch Poll, “Would you Wear these Trends?
features Emma in the gray Sonia Rykiel dress she wore during Paris Fashion Week. Thanks to Pam for the tip.

Mizz magazine in the UK also has an interview with Emma. You can read it here at snitchseeker.com. I think many of the questions and answers are just taken from old interviews, but if anyone has the magazine and can send in scans we’d appreciate it.
