Teen Vogue has named Emma Watson as one of the 20 Best Dressed Stars of the Year and now fans can vote for who gets the top spot in their Teen Vogue Best Dressed of The Year Contest. Go here to vote. The Tale of Despereaux is one of 14 films submitted for consideration in the Animated Feature Film category for the 81st Academy Awards according to Comingsoon.net. The nominations will be announced in January. Thanks to UHP for the tip.

Emma turned on the Christmas lights at a VIP opening of the Somerset House Ice Rink in London today. From the Press Association:

Watson turned on the lights on the Tiffany Christmas tree decorated with huge blue ice skates. She said she was “absolutely delighted” to be officially performing the switch-on.

Wearing a red scarf and a black coat, she added: “I’ve been coming here since I was about 13 and I absolutely love it. It’s Christmassy and wonderful.”

Wonderful new pictures to get you into the Christmas spirit!

And speaking of Christmas, we have decided to do a Christmas project again. We know it’s late. It’s been a very busy autumn for all of us, and we just haven’t had time. We couldn’t just do nothing though, so we are doing a smaller project this year. The theme will be Christmas and New Year’s traditions. Here’s your chance to tell Emma some of the things you do that make the holidays special to you. You can also send in holiday messages to Emma. The traditions and messages will be printed and sent to her. Christmas is coming fast, so the deadline is December 1. At the link below you can read more information and how to participate.

A new trailer for Half-Blood Prince was released today by Trailer Addict. They are calling it the international teaser trailer. At the end you can see it says the movie will be out “This Year”, so it was probably made a while ago before the release date was pushed back to next July. Interesting that it’s just come out now, and if they waited this long, they could have changed that. Anyway, more importantly, this one actually includes some scenes with Emma. Yay!! Finally! Last Friday Emma attended a launch party for TAR, a new art magazine to be published twice a year by Tar-Art. So far, just one picture has appeared. You can read more about the party on blog posts here and here. Thanks to angelhug on the forums for the link.

SPORT – Nobody can say that sport is the thing for Emma, but field hockey and handball are relax for her!
FILMS – She loves all films with Julia Roberts! Emma is a great fan of Julia. And her more favourite films? She likes a Dirty dance, Shrek, Ocean’s Thirteen and Gladiator.
HALLOWEEN – She loves this day. Emma disguise for the ghost every year. She organize the Halloween party with her friends every year.
ART – She hate Math in school but she loves Art. She loves drawing!
SINGING – La laaa laa, it can be heared from Emma’s own bathroom. She loves songs by Britney Spears.
FRIENDS – She loves visiting friends. Sometimes at home with watching DVD. But still loves listening music with her friends. One of her best friends is Daniel Radcliffe.
FUN – She likes fun like a normal teenager. She goes to cinema, she can has a walk in park or she can be in Fast food and drinks a Coca Cola.
TRAVELLING – If she can she wants to travell all places on the world! She is French, but her most favourite country is England where she is living now.
ANIMALS – She has got two cats called Bubbles and Domino. They are her lovers!
HARRY POTTER – She knows all books of Harry Potter edice because she is Hermione Granger, Potter’s best friend. Her most favourite book is Harry Potter and Prisoner of Azkaban.
BRAD PITT – Her idol is Brad Pitt. Emma says that Brad Pitt is the nicest guy in the world.
