The trailer for The Tale of Despereaux is now online at Yahoo Movies. Emma voices the character of Princess Pea in this animated film. You can see Princess Pea in the trailer at 1:34 and 2:05. Thanks to Kristi and Hermiron from the forums.

Just a little update to let you know that you can read a brand new e.m.s on EWO  😆  Looks like Emma is finally getting some well-deserved free time!

An exhibition at the National Media Museum includes a photograph of Emma Watson according to the Telegraph & Argus.

A photograph on display of Harry Potter star Emma Watson was used to create the doll of her character, Hermione. The process of taking pictures for publicity and merchandise is done throughout filming, says Michael (Harvey). This could mean re-shooting a whole scene — some directors are more co-operative with this than others!

Live by the Lens. Die by the Lens: Film Stars and Photographers “explores the complicated relationship between stars, publicists, photographers and the media.” The exhibit features photos of over 100 movie celebrities, from film legends like Greta Garbo and Katherine Hepburn through todays stars like Keira Knightley, Russell Crowe, and Emma. The exhibition runs through 28 September.

If anyone goes to see this, let us know what picture they used.

We’ve given the gallery a makeover today. We hope you’ll like the change from the old gray theme. Thanks to Katy for the new look.

I’ve also added some pics. First, some scans from the magazine Starpics. These are shots from the Bravo photoshoot. Nothing new, but they are nice scans.

Second, I realized I never added pics from last summers Early Show, so I’ve uploaded some of those now.

And finally, continuing with the fan graphics updates, I’ve add a huge batch of cute avatars. The new ones start on page 6. Thank you to all who sent them in.

We have some news about the US Ballet Shoes DVD release date. Amazon.com is listing that it will be available later this year on September 2nd. So far nothing is confirmed, but we’ll let you know when we get more info.

The wonderful Jo updated Emma’s Official Site letting us know that Emma is nominated for “Best Actress” in her performance from Order of the Phoenix for the Syfy genre awards! She’s up against Claire Danes, Helena Bonham Carter, Gwyneth Paltrow and Nicole Kidman.

Also up for nomination is Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix for “best movie” award, JK Rowling for “lifetime achievement” award, and Emma’s co-star Daniel Radcliffe is also nominated for “best actor”! Voting begins June 25th and ends on July 25th. 🙂

Born in France but very definitely known as a young British actress, Emma Watson has become an attractive and versatile talent.
Watson was cast as Hermione at the age of nine, having acted only in school plays. From 2001 to 2007, she starred in five Harry Potter films alongside Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint. She will return for the final three installments: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, due to be released in 2008, and the two parts of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Watson’s work in the Harry Potter series has earned her several awards and more than £10 million.
