We have an update from syhr about the forums:

It looks like the forum software is being upgraded. Sorry that we didn’t give you any notice, but I wasn’t even aware myself that it was happening this soon. I’m hoping the forums will be back up and running sometime tomorrow, but it all depends how quickly our host finishes configuring them, and how quickly I can set everything up again.

UPDATE: The forums are now back online, however from now on you will need to use the address emmawatson.net/forum (there’s no s!)

And a little warning. You’ll need to register again.

We also have some new scans for you. Emma is featured on the cover of Girl Power from Indonesia and an accompanying article. Thanks to Julizia for the scans. Raluca sent us scans of an article in the Romanian TV Mania. She says there is no new information so no translation. Thank you both for sending these in.

Hello, everyone!

I hope everyone is enjoying their first days of the new year! 🙂 Considering that it is a new year, and a new month, we would like to announce our January Site of the Month! To help the year get off to a healthy start, we would like to name World’s Healthiest Foods (www.whfoods.com) our January SOTM.

And it’s also time to change the calendar. This months winner is Mireia. Congratulations!

Jo was a very close second, and we have 2 more honorable mentions from Maja and Roni. Good work everyone, and thank you to all who entered.

What a year 2007 has been.

It was pretty quiet for a few months, but the excitement started to build as summer got closer. We saw Emma at the Raisa Gorbachev Gala in June. Then July was just a whirlwind of activity. The premieres in Paris, London and LA, the Hand, Foot & Wand ceremony, the photoshoots, talkshows and other publicity. And in the midst of all that was the announcement of Emma opening her own website. I was expecting the rest of the year to be rather quiet after that. I was wrong. Soon came Emma’s win at the National Movie Awards, presenting to JKR at the Pride of Britain Awards, winning again at the Kids Choice Awards, the Chanel show and some stunning magazine layouts. And to end the year in real style, Ballet Shoes. Yes, it’s been an amazing year. Here’s a quick look back in pictures from Shannon at some of these events. I can’t wait to see what 2008 brings.

According to the Guest Guide on the Live with Regis & Kelly site, Emma will be appearing on tomorrow’s show. Thanks to moecrazy for the tip. I don’t know if this is a new interview, or if they are just replaying the one from this summer. Check your local listings for show times. In my area, the show is preempted by one of the New Year’s day parades.   😡

Just a quick reminder to fans in Canada, Ballet Shoes is on CBC at 5 pm today.

We still have no information on when it will be shown in New Zealand, or if it will be shown anywhere else.

In a recent interview Emma was asked about her future in acting. Emma replied that the experience of filming Ballet Shoes made her think “Yeah, maybe I could see myself doing this, maybe this is where I’m meant to be.” The majority of those who have now seen the film I think would agree with her. Reviews have been overwhelmingly positive. Here are a few: FT.com, Scotsman.com, The Guardian, The Herald. TV Scoop has a quote which I think sums up most of what I have read very nicely. Emma Watson has instantly stepped out from the shadow of Hermione Granger and  shown herself to be incredibly talented.

If you were lucky enough to watch “Ballet Shoes” yesterday I hope you enjoyed it! Solo let us know that The Guardian released the TV ratings and here’s how many people watched Ballet Shoes:

Over on BBC1, family drama Ballet Shoes picked up an average of 5.2 million and 22% between 8.30pm and 9.55pm.
