For part of this years Christmas project we are going to make a book of our favorite things about Christmas or the holiday season. And by “our” I mean all the fans at EW.net, so we would like you to let us know what your favorite things are. If you are a little lost for ideas, here are some suggestions. Send us a picture of something you really like about Christmas, like snowmen or presents or Christmas lights. Or you could do it in a drawing and send us a scan. You could send us the recipe for your favorite christmas cookies. Or the lyrics to a favorite Christmas song. Maybe there is a movie like It’s a Wonderful Life that you always watch at Christmas time. Or a favorite Christmas book you like to read. Or it could be your own short story about a very special Christmas you had. You can send us anything as long as it’s something you like about Christmas. Use your imagination. The more variety we get the better it will be. You can also add a short note saying why it is a favorite if you like. We haven’t set a deadline yet, but it needs to be early enough so that we can get this printed and sent to Emma in time for Christmas. So start thinking. 🙂

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is nominated for “Hollywood Movie of the Year” over at Yahoo Movies. OoTP is currently in second place, trailing 300 by only 2000 votes. The deadline for voting is tomorrow I think, so go vote today.

Today Emma attended the Pride of Britain awards and not as just a guest. She was specifically invited to attend and present J.K. Rowling with a Special Recognition award. We’ll update with pictures and more news as soon as we can.

Emma will also be attending the UK Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards on October 20. She is nominated for Best Actress and is up against Keira Knightley, Cameron Diaz and Dakota Fanning. Voting took place this past summer and I hope you all voted. Good luck Emma!

Just a little update to let you know that EWO has been updated with some great news: next Tuesday (October 9th), Emma will be attending the Pride of Britain Awards.

Another good thing is that you can enter a draw to get some tickets. Just check this page.

The ceremony will air on ITV1 at 9 PM the day after. If anyone could record it for us, we’d be extremely grateful!
