We don’t have many news for you today, apart from the fact that Dan mentioned Emma (and Rupert) in an interview published in the German magazine TV Times:

“TV Times: Do you meet your co-actors Rupert Grint and Emma Watson even in private?

Daniel: Never! We are good friends, but we spend a lot of time together on set. That’s enough.”

Many, many thanks to our wonderful friend Geri from HPANA for letting us know that Emma is in the new Teen Vogue issue, looking all grown-up. She’s definitely turning into a very sophisticated young lady 🙂

And here’s a quote from the interview:

“I’ve read scripts, but nothing’s particularly grabbed me, and I don’t want to do something just for the sake of doing it. It would have to be a film I feel really passionate about, because I’ve got so much else going on in my life.”

And for those of you who, just like me, love reading but never know which book to buy because there’s wayyyyy too much choice in bookstores, the interview also says that Emma recently read A Room with a View, a 1908 novel by English writer E.M. Forster.

Update: aren’t we lucky today? IheartWatson.net posted a preview of the OotP clips that will air on Ellen DeGeneres. You can see Harry and Hermione sitting at the Gryffindor table. 😆  Thanks to this blog!

Hello boys and girls!  😛

Thanks to Mugglenet for informing us that this Friday some new footage from the OOTP will be played on the Ellen DeGeneres show! You can click here to find out when the show airs in your area. 😉 We don’t know which clips they will show, but hopefully it’ll be one with Hermione!

Thanks to HPANA for letting us know that Emma will attend the LA premiere on Sunday July 8th at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, 6925 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood. The cast is scheduled to arrive at 3.30 PM but of course, be there (much) earlier if you want a chance to see something! 🙂

Also, the IGN site posted a set report, in which Emma is quoted:

“Hermione, played by Emma Watson, also amps up her character and she keeps coming out of her shell. Watson told us “It’s quite a powerful [role] for Hermione, this one. She’s the one who makes everything happen. It’s very similar to the role she had in the third one where she’s just like ‘Right, we’re going to do this and you guys are coming with me.’ (laughs) She’s dragging them off everywhere so it’s really cool. It’s a powerful female role.”

This sounds very girl power, don’t you think? 😆

I am sad to announce that in the past couple months we have had several staff members retire. A huge thank you to Julie-Ann, Brittany, Melanie and especially Christel for all their hard work and contributions to the site. To rebuild our staff, we will have several positions opening soon. First up is graphics.

Graphics Designer (hiring 1 or more)

Duties:

• Create original graphics such as icons, banners, wallpapers, Watson Weekly pages and more
• Participate in staff discussions about the site, voting for competitions, etc.
  

Requirements:

• Experienced with Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro or other higher end graphics software
• Good understanding of English
• Member of emmawatson.net forums (please register before applying if not a member already)
• The motivation and dedication to complete tasks on time
• Work well with a team
• Be a respectful fan of Emma
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with page layout using text, images and graphics, like a page in Watson Weekly or other magazines.
• Experience with website layout design
• Initiative and imagination to come up with new ideas to improve the site

• First name, and your displayname on emmawatson.net forums
• Age
• Location
• Software you use
