After months without no new interviews, Newsweek has posted on at their website where Emma talks about what she wants to do after Harry Potter, friendship on set, flying first class, dating boys and much more! Make sure to check that out cuz it’s really nice! 😉  And thanks to everyone who pointed that out!

Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe are the actors of the year! We  awarded them with the Xpress Penguin on the set of the new Harry Potter film.

We see familiar sets everywhere in the halls of London Leavesden Studios, Sirius Black’s house, Dumbledore’s office, Harry’s dormitory..and now we realize that we are at Hogwarts!

Emma Watson welcomes us. “Hello!!” the sweet sixteen year-old, who portrays the bookworm Hermione Granger, waves at us. Just for the Xpress she takes a break during shoothing and smiling shyly she accepts the Golden Penguin. “Wow, thanks. I’ve never gotten such and award before. Greeting to all readers in Austria!” The perfect students thinks for a while and says, “Hey, we British stole a few words from your languague. Like the word angst! It means the same for us…!”

Daniel Radcliffe also joins us. Altough ha has a tight timetable today he wants to accept the Penguin personally. “How did I win that?”,  he laughs. “It’s really cool and of course it will get a special place next to last year’s. Thank you very much!”

Six pack. We ask Dan about his bathing scene in Goblet of Fire and want to know how long he trains for his Adonis-body. “Uhm, thanks for noticing it.” Dan grins and blushes at the same time. “Not so long, half an hour twice a week with David Holmes, my stunt double. But we train hard.”

Do you guys remember that Emma has won a golden penguin award from the Austrian magazine Xpress? That she won the award for “Best Actress”? And Daniel Radcliffe who received the same penguin award for “Best Actor”? Well, here’s the article when the reporters of Xpress visited the OOTP set to give them their awards!

What a great surprise right! So after that I think everyone should starting sending their messages for the Christmas project!

And going back to the normal stuff, Hermione got trough to the last round of the UGO – Class Presidents, she’s now up against Willow Rosenberg from Buffy the Vampire so she really needs our votes! Go on and make sure to crown Hermione class president! And don’t forget that Emma’s losing at the CBBC Poll so let’s get our girl the victory again!

The video for this week is from the ITV program “Some Animal Magic”, a behind the scenes look at the animals of HP. There was some short clips around last year, but this is the longest segment I’ve seen, almost 18 minutes from the program. Guess what? It’s almost Christmas! Ok, not really… However, this year the staff here at Emma-Watson.net is planning a special Christmas Project to send right to Emma. Now, what is it you may ask? Well, are you ready? You sure? We’re going to…

Make a REAL version of the Watson Weekly and send it to Emma. That’s right, a real, printed magazine! The only difference with this issue, besides the fact that it will be printed and sent to Emma, is the fact that it will be filled with messages from you! You can go to our Christmas Project page and fill out a survey of questions that will be placed in the magazine. The deadline to send in your survey in is November 15th. Make sure you get your survey in by then! After everyone sends in their entries, the staff will pick a handful of them to print in the magazine that is sent to Emma. The magazine will also be filled with tons of fun goodies including stuff about Emma and how to get in the holiday spirit. 🙂

So get going, go fill out your survey! 😆

P.S. Yesterday was our 100th news post since the site reopened this past May. A big thanks to all the staff and fans who have helped make this site what it is today. 🙂

Edit: Just to clear it up with everyone, the staff will be picking the top 50 Reasons Why We All Love Emma and the top 50 Questions For Emma, but all the personal messages to Emma will be included if you agree to it be printed in the magazine. 😉

Thanks again to Iza (and everyone else who sent their translations) here’s the translation for those scans that I posted yesterday:

First one: Star Style: Not obvious at all, but sensible and fashionable, a dark blue shade has been placed in the top preferences of designers and Hollywood stars. The colour became a hit and it works not only with night dresses but casual clothing too. Wear dark blue this summer for a shade of mystery.

Second: In the movie he’s in love with Emma Watson, but in real life they’re just good friends.

Third: The kiss is not wizardy! Harry is an expert in wizardry but when it comes to love, he has a lot to learn. It seems that in the kiss scene for the upcoming Harry Potter movie there is no magic formula and no hocus-pocus to help him. Daniel Radcliffe and kis kissing scene partner, Katie Leung were asked to repeat the kissing scene over 30 times! This didn’t disturb the funny Dan at all! “Oh my God, I liked it so much!” The Sun newspaper quoted him saying. Also confirmed by his screen girlfriend, Katie Leung: “Daniel kisses very well. It was truly a pleasure!”. Harry Potter fans have to wait to see their favorite characters in action in “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” which will be released July next year.

Fourth: Two must die! Shock declaration for all Harry Potter fans: Joanne K. Rowling, the inventor of Hogwarts school, announced that in the seventh book and the last part of the series two of three principal characters will die! With who between Harry, Hermione and Ron, Joanne played the Russian Roulette has remained a mystery.
