Emma a Natural Beauty by James Houston

A new photography book by James Houston will feature new portraits of Emma Watson along with other celebrities, ‘with the goal to raise awareness and funds for the environment and sustainable living’.

My latest project, NATURAL BEAUTY, is a photographic series inspired by the connection I feel to nature in my design work and in the environment. I shot some of the world’s leading celebrities and top models who are also environmentally conscious. The project will launch during World Earth Week 2013 in New York and Los Angeles in collaboration with MILK Galleries NYC. By celebrating the incredible beauty that exists in nature, my hope is that these images will inspire people to appreciate and value nature’s beauty. The environment is a gift we can’t afford to take for granted. We all need to do our part to protect it. – James Houston

Natural Beauty will debut at the Milk Gallery in late April, and will be available for sale this spring. Proceeds will benefit Global Green USA.

New Photo in V Magazine

A new photo of Emma Watson from the photoshoot by Alex Lubomirski is out in V Magazine.

“Growing up on a film set, the makeup ladies were like my surrogate mothers,” jokes Emma Watson, who now as a proper adult is the face of Lancôme’s new In Love collection of colorful cosmetics. Inspired by spring florals and Parisian romance, the line is filled with poppy hues for the eyes, cheeks, nails, and lips. Kohl liners come in cool shades of deepwater blue and jade crush, while the neon translucent lip balms are among Watson’s favorites. “All four of the colors are really easy to wear,” she says. “And since I’m very pale, I’m a big blusher girl. The nice thing is that you can wear it all over your face, almost like a powder, and it makes you look healthy!” Listen to the pro. She knows of what she speaks.

April Calendar Competition

The April Calendar Competition has begun.

  • The size of the calendar should be at least 1024×768. Higher resolutions are good. Widescreen is also allowed.

Bling Ring Teaser Trailer

“Let’s go shopping” is the first teaser for Sofia Coppola’s The Bling Ring with Emma Watson. The trailer is short, but we get our first looks at Emma,as Nikki, preparing for a night of ‘shopping’, pole dancing, and several other scenes in the movie. The movie opens in limited release June 14.

Emma Nominated for 3 MTV Movie Awards

Emma Watson is nominated for “Best Female Performance” in the 2013 MTV Movie Awards for playing Sam in The Perks of Being a Wallflower. She is also nominated for “Best Musical Moment” along with co-stars Logan Lerman and Ezra Miller for the Come on Eileen dance scene, and also for “Best Kiss” with Logan. Ezra is nominated for “Breakthrough Performance” for his role as Patrick. Voting is open now. The ceremony will air Sunday April 14.

Bling Ring in June, Cinderella Next Year?

Distributer A24 has announced a US release date for Sofia Coppola’s The Bling Ring starring Emma Watson. According to Variety, the movie will open in limited release June 14. There is speculation that the trailer for The Bling Ring will debut in theaters with the March 15 opening of Spring Breakers, also distributed by A24.

Variety is also reporting that Emma is in “early talks” to play the title role in Disney’s Cinderella. Kenneth Branagh (Gilderoy Lockhart in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets) will direct the live action adaptation of the fairy tale. Cate Blanchett has signed on to play the wicked stepmother. The studio hopes to begin production this fall and release it next year.

Update: A tweet from Variety’s Marc Graser says Emma decided against Cinderella.
